Silver Sneakers at WSC

Waring Senior Center is now a Silver Sneakers provider! Silver Sneakers is a fitness benefit for those age 65+ that's included with many Medicare Advantage and supplemental insurance plans.

The Silver Membership is a fitness-only level of membership and there is no cost to join the senior center at this level for those with Silver Sneakers.

Silver members have access to the fitness center with the cardio and weight machines, pickleball courts, and exercise and dance classes that are listed as free for members in our newsletter. There are some fitness and dance classes that have fees which are discounted for senior center members. Those fees are listed in the center's newsletter and are the same fees paid by current Basic and Gold Members.

For other non-fitness classes, events, and trips, (such as art classes, lectures, social events, games, etc.), Silver members would pay the nonmembers rate as listed in the newsletter.

The Silver Plus Membership includes everything outlined in the Silver membership above plus member-level access to all the other non-fitness classes, events, and trips offered by the senior center (such as art classes, lectures, social events, games, etc.). The Silver Plus membership is $40 annually.

For current members with Silver Sneakers, you can opt to use your Silver Sneakers benefit when you renew your membership.
