FIVE AGENCIES JOIN AARP FOR TOWN HALL MEETINGS
Educating Seniors on Protecting Financial Interests
LITTLE ROCK– Five State Agencies and Departments have partnered with AARP Arkansas to hold a series of town hall-style meetings around the state over the next two months. The Attorney General’s office will join the State Insurance Department-SHIIP, DHS- Division of Aging and Adult Services, the Securities Department and State Bank Department to present these meetings for seniors.
Experts from the various offices will be making presentations and taking questions on identity fraud, investment fraud, reverse mortgages, insurance fraud and Medicare. All meetings will be from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Lunch will be provided. Advanced registration is required. Register by calling toll-free 1-877-926-8300 by October 6, 2008.
