OLD BUSINESS:

• The newly purchased gold pins for 50 year graduates were displayed for all to see. Approved by all present. The pins were purchased from Classic Touch in Phillipsburg by Jeane. Last year, we purchased 12 pins. One pin was used at May banquet along with remainder of old pins. This year we purchased 10 more pins at price of $73.00 each. We now have 21 pins. There will be no graduating class in May 2014. Our decision is to purchase some new pins each year due to possibility of gold prices increasing.

• Yearly dues of $10.00 are due in November. Contact Jeane with any questions regarding dues.

• The “bakeless” bake sale will continue as a fund raiser. We still have car magnets for sale.

NEW BUSINESS:

• Cookie suggested that we have prayer prior to our meal. Since there were no objections, Cookie requested that Joan Bertolino say blessing. Joanie has agreed.

• The Christmas Luncheon will be held at the Green Pond Country Club in the Fireplace Room on December 10th. Menu was selected by the group.

• Menu includes:

• Vegetable Soup

• Salad with romaine and ranch & Italian dressing on table

• Beef tips and Lemon chicken

• Country mixed veggies

• Filling

• Whipped sweet potatoes

• Rolls, butter

• Chocolate parfait

• Doors open 11:30AM/ Meeting@ 12:15PM/Eat@ 1PM/Cash bar

• General discussion re cost for luncheon. Do we increase price? Yvonne made motion that since we do have money in treasury and members who attend are those who support Alumnae that we keep price the same at $25.00. Majority voted in favor. Judy abstained. Cost for luncheon will be $25.00.

• Monetary donations will be accepted at the luncheon for Project of Easton in lieu of food.

• The spring banquet will be held May 3, 2014 at the Blue Banquet Center.

• Nominations for expiring Directors will be presented at December meeting. Judy Kessler has agreed to serve another term. Lois Altemose has agreed to serve as director for first term.

• Maryann Conkey questioned if we still sent get well cards, Maryann Corona stated we do not. Cookie suggested that we should do this again. Cookie will sent card from Association to Anna Baresse who had bilateral knee replacement and is rehabbing at Good shepherd@ Easton Hospital. Cookie requested that if anyone knows of anyone else, please notify her so cards may be sent.

Since there is no further business, a motion was made by Maryann Conkey and seconded by Joan Bertolino. Meeting adjourned.
