Monday, September 21st—No School—Faculty Retreat

Thursday, September 24th Family Reading Night

We will be visiting Our Lady of Angels Cathedral in Los Angeles for our first field trip, October 21st. This is a special Mass in which children from Catholic schools come to celebrate Holy Childhood Association (H.C.A.)—Missionary Work. If you would like your child to participate in this event as a reader, altar server, or as a dancer or processional member, please let me know if he/she can attend a practice at the cathedral the weekend before the event—Saturday, October 20th 9:00A.M.-12:00.

Also, our class will be leading a school wide effort to earn funds for our sister school through recycling. Our fundraiser is known as “Water Bottle Wednesdays” and we are in need of some help. We need a couple of volunteers to help collect plastic bottles from classrooms on Wednesdays and take them to a recycling center for cash. This activity will be ongoing throughout the year. Please let me know if you are interested. Thank you.
