Attendance: Please have your child at school by 7:20 every morning. Make school a priority!
Book Bags: Book bags
must be brought in daily with a signed conduct sheet in homework agenda.
Communication: Please let me know if there is a concern or problem.
Dismissal: School ends at 2:25.
Emergency Numbers:
Please make sure the office has your updated and correct phone numbers.
Field Trip: First grade field trips always need parent volunteers.
Grading Scale:
4 = consistently exceeds expectations
3= consistently meets expectations
2 = Needs support
1 = Below Grade level
Homework: Your child will have homework on Mon. through Thurs. night
Internet: Your child will use the Internet for reading and math practice.
Journals: Your child will write in journals throughout the year.
Keep: Students must be responsible for keeping their things organized.
Lunch: Feel free to enjoy lunch with your child. Time-11:15-11:40.
Management: I use a conduct sheet that must be signed by parents/guardians daily.
Notes: All absences must have a note sent to school.
Open Classroom
Parents are always welcome.
Participate: Please read with your child every night.
Quiet: Your child will be expected to follow Tiger PRIDE rules for being quiet.
Reading: Your child will be studying reading strategies
all year.
Supplies:
Classroom supplies are always needed—please check the supply list.
Tardies: All students must be at school by 7:45.
Unkind Behavior Unkind behavior is unacceptable in the
classroom and school.
Volunteers: Our class will welcome any parent or grandparent to read to our class.
