SUNDANCE OVERVIEW AND COMPANY HISTORY

Sundance Consulting, Inc. (Sundance) is pleased to present our impressive record of providing innovative solutions to complex environmental issues. Our approach involves finding the balance between the needs of multiple, diverse stakeholders, and offering advanced and cost-effective remedies, while conserving natural and cultural resources. In every effort that we undertake, Sundance strives to build an enduring client relationship based on a foundation of competence, credibility, and the highest-quality service.

Founded in 2005, Sundance is a Native American- and Woman-owned Small Business headquartered in Pocatello and Victor, ID, with additional offices located in Albuquerque, NM; Anchorage, AK; Atlanta, GA; Baltimore, MD; Barrigada, Guam; Denver, CO; Overland Park, KS; Portland, OR; Rootstown, OH; and Seattle, WA. Sundance graduated from the Small Business Administration 8(a) program in December 2017.

Sundance is currently working for or has recently completed projects for several U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Districts. In addition to successfully completing projects for USACE and for Native American and Alaska Native Tribes, Sundance has been awarded contracts by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Bureau of Land Management, National Park Service (NPS), National Interagency Fire Center, the U.S. Forest Service (USFS), other federal and state agencies, and numerous commercial clients.

Sundance has maintained steady and controlled growth. Our experienced staff includes registered professional geologists and engineers, and personnel with degrees and expertise in anthropology, archaeology, biology, botany, ecology, environmental engineering, geology, geographic information systems (GIS), hydrogeology, hydrology, and other technical disciplines associated with environmental consulting and remediation.

Prior to 2005, Sundance’s founder and President, September Myres, worked for environmental organizations supporting the USACE, Pueblos of New Mexico and Native Alaskan Villages under the Native American Lands Environmental Mitigation Program (NALEMP). She gained the reputation of being able to bring culturally diverse organizations together to provide environmental solutions, while meeting the needs of multiple stakeholders. Her success has led to consecutive NALEMP contracts each year since, plus additional USACE contracts providing remediation, environmental consulting, and records management.
