Job Title: Senior Brand Manager – Seriously Transformed (G6)Job Purpose:To drive the delivery of marketing plans for Seriously Transformed Range of products to achieve revenue, profit & cash flow targets. To proactively understand and meet the requirements and concerns of customers/consumers, and deliver a service to meet those needs and capitalise on our key point of difference in the UK cheese market. Reporting Line: Marketing Controller Direct Reports: Assistant Brand Manager (ABM)Working Relationships (Internal/External):Marketing team; Quality team;Senior/Management team;Management team; Factories in France;Customers; External AgenciesMain tasks and responsibilities:To lead the development and delivery of the 3 year plans for Seriously transformedManage the range of product, and innovation pipeline across the existing and new formats Manage the launch of NPD with the ABM, working closely with factories, NPD teams, sales & category teams, and quality departmentManage the P&L of the brand, reporting each month, along with managing the marketing budget for the areaUse data sources and latest trends to generate insights for monthly reporting & brand planningContribute to the overall delivery of the Lactalis’ vision and business planDevelop the knowledge and skills of the ABMExperience/Knowledge and skills:Have experience in marketing within FMCG or other consumer goods marketDemonstrate an ability to think strategically, and build a plan to hit targetsHave knowledge of market data sources, and understand how to gain insight from them (IRI or Neilson and Kantar, along with brand tracking) Have run research projects into either NPD and/or advertisingDeveloped/worked on innovation concepts, and a strategic innovation funnel that has helped build a brandExperience of working on media campaigns solely or with other senior team membersAbility to analyse and evaluate data against key indicators, to monitor programmes, projects and plans in order to set targets.Creative flair and an understanding of effective copy writingCuriosity – a willingness to look into new things, make discoveries and recommendationsEnergy – drive and determination to get plans and projects delivered on time and to a high standardGood verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated ability to interact effectively with people at different levelsHave managed a direct report, or helped develop a more junior member of a team Understanding of and commitment to Equal Opportunities and managing diversityFrench language (written and spoken)The job description is intended to include the broad range of responsibilities and requirements of the post.
