This manual implements DoDI 7770.02, Uniformed Services Pay File. This manual provides baselevel military pay procedural guidance for Regular Air Force Financial Management Flights. This Air Force Manual (AFMAN) applies to uniformed members of the Regular Air Force (RegAF) and Air Force Reserve (AFR) and to the Air National Guard (ANG) when the member is serving under Title 10 orders. This AFMAN may not be supplemented. Refer recommended changes and questions about this publication to the OPR using the AF Form 847, Recommendation for Change of Publication; route the AF Form 847 from the field through the local Financial Management Flight (FMF) to Air Force Installation Mission and Support Center (AFIMSC) to SAF/FMFC (AFAFO-F). Ensure that all records created as a result of processes prescribed in this publication are maintained IAW AFMAN 33-363, Management of Records, and disposed of in accordance with Air Force Records Information Management System Records Disposition Schedule. Tiering has been accomplished for this AFMAN IAW AFI 33-360, Publications and Forms Management. The authorities to waive wing/unit level requirements in this publication are identified with a Tier (T-0, T-1, T-2, T-3) number following the compliance statement. See AFI 33-360 for a description of the authorities associated with the tier numbers. Submit requests for waivers through the chain of command to the appropriate Tier waiver approval authority, or alternately, to the local Comptroller office for non-tiered compliance items.
