Prior to 2013 AccountancySchool.ie was part of Independent Colleges. Independent Colleges was established in 2007 and in 2013 AccountancySchool.ie was founded as a separate business to Independent Colleges. We provide preparatory courses to professional accountancy students.

CGS is an education centre designed specifically for students taking the CAP 2 and FAE exams of Chartered Accountants Ireland. It is led by Liam Doran FCCA, MBS (Finance) and Dave O'Donoghue FCCA, MSc (Accounting) Dip IFR.

Between them Liam and Dave have over 40 years lecturing experience to ACCA, ICAI, CIMA and CPA students. FAE PROGRAMME

Our FAE courses are designed to prepare you for the Core and Elective examinations. We run two day `technical' courses designed to cover the technical material needed at FAE. These courses are split into the following subject headings;

1. Financial accounting 2. Auditing 3. Tax 4. Finance and manegement accounting 5. Business leadership

Course are also delivered in March for the Interim Assessments and there is a course early January for AAFRP.

CAP 2 PROGRAMME

Classes are intensive and aim to cover ALL of the major syllabus areas that are examinable. Our tutors are experts in their respective fields and are fully committed to ensuring that you pass your exams. We welcome and indeed encourage students to raise questions and queries during class to ensure that those areas that people are having difficulty with are the areas that are concentrated on. We use sample papers as well as past examination questions to explain the material and allow students to be fully aware of what's expected of them in order to gain a pass.

F1, F2 AND F3 TIMETABLES FOR 2018:

We are changing the way that courses are delivered for the early subjects of F1, F2 and F3. You can choose the best mode of study and commencement date that suits your personal circumstances.

1. FACE TO FACE: The lectures are classroom based. These classes are also streamed live and recorded so you can review challenging topics after the class. In addition, if you cannot attend a lecture you can follow the live stream from your home or office.

2. BLENDED COURSE: The first lecture will be classroom based. It will also be streamed live and recorded if you are unable to attend the live lecture at our College. The lecturer will introduce him/herself and layout the lecture plans for you together with giving an introduction to the course. The remainder of the course will be delivered online and will also include the Revision Course (see below)

3. REVISION COURSE: These courses are classroom based face to face courses streamed live and recorded. They are included as part of the Face to Face course OR the Blended Lectures course. The revision course can also be taken as a stand alone course.

Register for F1, F2 and F3 for 1,500 and take as many attempts as you need to pass these 3 papers. The early papers can be challenging as you adapt to your ACCA studies. We want to help you with these early papers by giving you an unlimited number of attempts at them.

The new syllabus merges the existing subjects, P1 and P3, into a new subject named the `Strategic Business Leader'. Retakers: We offer significant discounts to students who are repeating an exam with us. The discount is available to all retakers irrespective of where you studied for the exam previously. Does not apply if other discounts are being claimed. There are T&Cs.
