Accelerated Reader Enterprise



1. The link to Renaissance Place is found in the Custom Start Menu.

Here is the first screen for Renaissance Place (Accelerated Reader). You have the choice of logging in as a parent, a teacher, or a student.

Student Login

1. Students enter their user name. (Last name-First name)

2. Students enter password (Last Name)

Teacher Login

1. Teachers enter their user name (first initial last name- ie. mhancock)

2. Teachers enter password (user name with the number 1 on the end)

3. Click on the Change Password box before clicking Log In to change your password.

If you try and fail to login correctly, your account may be locked. If this happens, send me an e-mail and I will unlock you.

Set Reading Practice Goals for your Students

To view the Reading Practice Goals Record Book for an entire class,

1. Click Class Record Books under the Accelerated Reader tasks on your Home page.

2. On the page that appears next, click Reading Practice Goals; you may need to select the school and class first.

3. Goals are set by marking period or by school year. Before you can set goals, you must select the marking periods that you want to use for goals by clicking Select Marking Periods on the View Reading Practice Goals Record Book page.

4. Then, click Select next to each marking period you want to use.

5. Click Save when you are finished. You can set goals for either the entire school year or individual marking periods, but not both. As you're selecting the marking periods for the class, the software will not allow you to select overlapping marking periods.

Managing Quizzes

1. Go to the Manage Quizzes page and choose your school. >>   Click Home to go to your Home page; then click Manage Quizzes in the list of Accelerated Reader tasks. (If you don't see a list under Accelerated Reader, click Show Details.) The Manage Quizzes page appears.

If necessary, choose the school from the drop-down list.

2. Click Reading Practice in the list of Quiz Types on the Manage Quizzes page.

3. The View Reading Practice Quizzes page lists the Reading Practice Quizzes that have been installed for this school. Find the quiz you want to edit. >>   

Scroll through the list. If it's longer than the limit set in the Viewing preference, click Next >> or   Click Home to go to your Home page; then click Class Record Books in the list of Accelerated Reader tasks. (If you don't see a list under Accelerated Reader, click Show Details.) The Class Record Books page appears.

If necessary, choose the school and class from the drop-down lists. Choose My Classes instead of a school if you want only the Accelerated Reader RP classes you are assigned to as a teacher to be in the class list, regardless of the school.

2. Click Reading Practice Quizzes in the list of Class Record Books on the Class Record Books page.

3. On the View Reading Practice Quizzes Record Book page, click the name of the student for whom you want to delete a Reading Practice Quiz record.

4. The View Student Reading Practice Quiz Records page lists the quizzes that the student has taken so far. Find the quiz record you want to delete. >>  

If the list of quizzes is longer than the limit set in the Viewing preference, click Next >> or ................
