Credit Union of DenverPRIVATE Job DescriptionTitle:Infrastructure Product Delivery & Security DirectorStatus:ExemptReports to:Network Information Security Officer (NISO)Supervises:Sr. Network Administrator/Application Specialist and Business Resumption Planning and Security AdministratorPosition Purpose:Works with the NISO on management of security within the Credit Union Information Technology environment. Manages and oversees all aspects of Infrastructure Product Delivery. Monitors the Credit Union’s network(s) including all related client and server systems and provides guidance as needed. Provides guidance for managing the technical aspects of the Credit Union telephone system. Assists in coordinating the security objectives and other network related projects as designated by the NISO.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinate various cybersecurity related advisories, tests, and recommendations by 3rd party security vendor, report findings to NISO and CEO, Supervisory Committee, and Board of Directors as dictated by NISO. Analyze and coordinate security events, incidents, and intrusions with appropriate authorities.Assists NISO with Risk/Security Administration including serving on Incident Response Team as needed to contain, investigate, and prevent future security breaches and information system outages.Responsible for the development, maintenance and testing of disaster recovery for the organization. Responsible for ensuring appropriate change controls with regards to risks associated with system modifications or changes to the current network configurations. Provide recommendations to NISO on how to mitigate any identified risks.Responsible for managing and performing all IT related Risk Assessments including but not limited to Home Banking, mobile services, social media, and other Cybersecurity related risk assessments and remediations. Provides reports to Management and Board of Directors. Assist NISO as needed to evaluate and provide guidance to the credit union’s present computer network and telephone systems to effect improvements, reduce costs and enhance efficiency. Participate in and recommend enhancement, design and purchase of networks, servers, client systems and telephone systems, staying within the limits of the organization policy and budget. Assist NISO in performing due diligence assessment of existing security controls associated with designated network systems.Work with NISO to ensure there are adequate levels of security and monitoring within the Credit Union’s Information Technology environment that will provide detection, prevention, containment and deterrence mechanisms to protect and maintain the integrity of our data, systems and access points. Assist in establishment and maintenance of security policies and procedures. Follow best practices and recommendations by 3rd party security vendor.Act as Vendor Manager in the performance of Vendor Due Diligence for all current and future IT related vendors.Work with NISO in the scheduling and execution of Penetration tests, Social Engineering tests, and IT Audits as required. Provide reports.Respond to internal and external threats to systems security and identified penetration test vulnerabilities.Provide management oversight, guidance and expertise as needed to all members of the Network and Security teams including the approval and monitoring of major projects, IT budgets, priorities, standards, procedures, installation of network, security and telephone systems and overall performance of the members of the groups. Ensure adequacy and allocation of network and Security team resources with regards to personnel, equipment and service levels.Act as direct liaison for and coordinate project priorities between the Network and Security teams and the IT Financial Systems Department as well as other business unitsAssist the NISO as needed in the development of budget recommendations for organizational technology and the IT Network and Security Departments.Assist the NISO in the development and implementation of organization goals and projects. Serves as NISO in their absence.Assist in the execution and assessment of processes and procedures associated with all aspects of the Spectrum system and associated network systems associated as requested by the VP of Information Technology.Insures compliance with the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACTA), the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and the Anti-Money Laundering Act, including monitoring for any illegal activity as it applies to this position.Other Duties:Monitor the periodic review and updating of the Credit Union’s procedures for the IT Network Department.Keep abreast of technological changes and innovations in the information systems field.Other duties as assigned.Job Qualifications:Education:Equivalent to a college degree (BS or BA) with an emphasis in computer technology preferred. Work experience:Five years to eight years of similar or related experience preferred. Credit Union experience preferred. Experience with Fiserv, and other Core systems, Business Resumption Planning, and Cybersecurity Preparedness highly desired. Knowledge:Requires knowledge of computer technology and services and Federal and State regulations. Skills and mental abilities: (with or without accommodation)Good oral and written communication skills including tact and diplomacy. Ability to acquire, retain and apply knowledge of procedures and regulations. Initiative to problem solve with good judgment.Material and equipment used:Computer hardware and software, telephone, calculator, fax machine, copy machine, and PC.Work environment:Office environment.Physical activity and abilities: (with or without accommodation)Manual coordination to operate a PC, keyboard and telephone. Able to sit for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds. Vision to read computer generated reports and computer screen. Ability to hear and speak clearly in order to communicate with outside contacts and employees. Ability to travel to all office locations. Legible handwriting.
