This position assists the accounting department with administrative and organizational tasks, as well as

maintaining the petty cash fund, change funds, and cash boxes needed.

Job Requirements:

? Assists Bookkeeper-Cash Receipts prepare bank deposits, including caf¨¦ sales audit spreadsheets

? Mails vendor checks, including attachments, and delivers internal payments to mailboxes

? Scans contribution checks and offering envelopes

? Schedules volunteer offering counters

? Picks up, sorts and distributes incoming company mail daily with another accounting staff person

? Opens accounting mail with another accounting staff person and lists payments received

? Maintains accounting records storage area and list of storage boxes

? Maintains petty cash fund and replenishes petty cash

? Administers change funds/cash boxes

? Collects reimbursement funds for personal photocopies, postage, and print jobs

? Prepares various filing folders, binders, and other organizational needs

? Orders supplies for accounting staff, as needed, and other administrative tasks

? Keeps confidential all personal information related to donations and money received

? Assists Senior Director of Accounting with spreadsheet input

Skills:

? Good written and verbal communication skills

? Money handling skills

? Computer skills

o Effectively use Microsoft Office Software including Word and Excel for procedures and

spreadsheets

o Effectively use Microsoft Outlook for email, calendars, tasks, and contacts

o Ability to learn and utilize Ministry Platform database

o Ability to learn and utilize Shelby software to access financial reports and do budget input
