ASSESSMENT CRITERION 2: HIGH OUTCOMES FOR STUDENTS
Is the school performing at a ‘similar’ or ‘higher’ capacity against the following performance measures?
It is a requirement that all schools with a secondary component seeking accreditation satisfy Performance Measure A - “High level of student attainment”.
If the school does not satisfy either of Performance Measure B - “Supportive and Engaging learning environment for students” or Performance Measure C - “Successful transitions for students,” then in order to satisfy that measure the regional office must provide detailed comments in support of the school satisfying a performance measure.
Schools may wish to provide and discuss with the regional office additional supporting documentation as required in order to satisfy each performance measure/s. This additional information may then be attached to the school’s application if desired. Only additional information that has been discussed with the regional office may be attached to the school’s application. Regional office comments must be provided in support of each school response, where either of Performance Measures B or C is not satisfied.

The school’s students have a high level of attainment in learning as evidenced by the 4-year average VCE all studies score being ‘similar’ or ‘‘higher’ in the intake adjusted analysis or where the 4-year average in the VCE All Study score is at or above the median for the state.

ASSESSMENT CRITERION 4: PROVISION OF HIGH QUALITY STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES
The purpose of this criterion is to assess a school’s current or future capacity to provide high quality support services to international students and satisfy the requirements of the International Education Division’s Quality Standards.
Schools applying for initial accreditation are required to complete the Accreditation Questionnaire relating to the provision of high quality student support services including; orientation, homestay accommodation, care and welfare services and English language support.
