These problem sets are not required and are considered “Homework Club” points but they help you understand the material and definitely help your grade!! However, simply copying the answers from the back of the textbook is not acceptable.

• There will be several five point quizzes on Unit 1 as well.

• You may leave your text book at home.

• Your first test, as well as all tests in this course, will consist of 2 parts, the first part is multiple choice and the second part is free reponse with problems to work out. You will get to use your calculator on part II only. The formulae sheet and a Periodic Table will be provided for both parts even though they are only used on the Free Response of the AP Exam.
