Personal InterX devices - InterXSport or InterX1000

Personal InterX device is designed for anyone to manage their own pain, whether we are talking about chronic arthritis or a sports injury that’s just happened. NRG made this device very simple to use, yet safe and robust, so it can be carried with you in your backpack or pocket at any time, helping you get on with a normal pain free way of life.

Who should use the InterX?

People who have an acute pain such as a recent injury, fractured bones, inflammation, recent surgery, toothache, women suffering with period pains, etc.

Recent clinical studies demonstrate that the InterX is effective to reduce pain, reduce swelling and inflammation, to reduce muscular spasm and as a result of this it improves function, flexibility, and speeds up the healing time.

Also, people who suffer with chronic conditions like Osteoarthritis of the joints, back and neck pain, frozen shoulder, sciatic pain. To those who have an artificial knee or hip replacement or other metal implants, the InterX is effective and safe to use, because

the stimulation is limited to the skin.

InterX can successfully treat even the most stubborn of injuries such as ‘overuse’ like ‘tennis elbow’, carpal tunnel syndrome, Achilles’ tendonitis, Plantar- Fasciitis, Os-Goot Schlatter, etc.

The InterX provides an interactive neural stimulation, it is effective in treating so called neuropathic pains: so if you have trigeminal neuralgia, fibromyalgia, neuropathies and even very painful condition such as Complex Regional Pain syndrome. You can benefit from using the personal device to control your pain, but it is also a cost saving for you: very chronic conditions require many treatments. In chronic pain sufferers the body adapts to ‘feel’ pain all the time, so if you don’t have enough treatments the pain will return because the body is habituating pain.

If you are not sure whether the InterX can help you with your pain, please contact me, I would be able to advise.

Who should not use it?

People who have no diagnosis for their pain and who have a cardiac pacemaker.

Serious conditions should be treated under a supervision of your doctor or a trained InterX therapist. You will receive a specific guidance and advice that will be updated on weekly basis to get your pain under control and improve your condition.

People who have pain due to cancerous tumour, or suffering with circulatory diseases such as thrombophlebitis or embolism, epilepsy, pregnancy should be taking caution and seeking advice before starting treatment program with the InterX.

Could my injury get worse by masking pain with the InterX?

Normally, you wouldn’t. Remember, the InterX is NOT blocking pain, but STIMULATING the area that hurts. The result from the neural stimulation will cause the central nervous system to become aware of the damage and take the actions to respond by releasing your own biochemicals that will aim at pain relief, repair damage, in other words to restore homeostasis. However, I would recommend you see your doctor or talk to a trained InterX specialist to make sure that necessary procedures and tests are carried out to stabilise the injury.

Is it a TENS device?

The InterX finds the treatments areas by sticking to the skin at specific points connected to the damaged area.

The InterX is a neural stimulator which generates electrical pulses. The difference from TENS is that the waveform in each pulse constantly changes in response to the change in skin impedance, making the therapy interactive. Constantly changing waveform helps to prevent accommodation to the therapy. It engages the whole body to respond to ongoing stimulation.

When I buy the InterX what do I get in the package?

The package contains:

What is the difference between the InterX Sport and InterX1000?

InterX Sport is designed for anyone who does sport professionally or for pleasure. The device contains 3 presets to manage Acute pain and 2 presets to manage Chronic pain. It also has bright yellow colour (

The InterX1000 has 3 presets to manage chronic pain and only 2 to manage acute pain it is primary recommended to manage chronically ill people. It is white/ blue colour.

Generally, there is a very little difference between the devices and one can use either.

What is a Flexible Array?

Both Flexible Array and dual Flexible Array are external attachments specifically designed to treat the parts of the body that are difficult to reach, for example, the back. One can just lie on it to receive the treatment.

Another application of it is to treat the joints. The Flexible array can be tied to the joint and treatment could be performed ‘dynamically’, meaning that treatment can be conducted while the person is walking on a tread mill or moving the joint, recreating pain. Clinically, it is proven to be most effective treatment technique.

When the Flexible array is plugged into the device, it ‘recognises’ the Flexible Array and automatically switches to function in Cycles. Once the Flexible Array applied to the skin it treats all the area that it covers interactively for the duration of the cycle – 10 minutes.

How often I should use the InterX to get the result?

Very important factor which affects the success of your treatment is to use the device as soon as the injury occurs or inflammation takes place. The sooner you start, the less treatments you need to get the desired result.

For acute injuries use as often as 5 times a day, where you apply the InterX to the area that hurts for 20 minutes each time.

In case of chronic injury, it is a different story; frequent application will cause over-stimulation and may result in aggravation of the symptoms. To avoid such unpleasant experience, use the InterX less frequently, once every other day or three times a week for 30 minutes each time. Treatment should be focused on the spine where nerves originate and the area that hurts.

In cases of CRPS treat two times a week. Treatment should be applied to the spinal points or head (please contact me for further guidance).

What is a course of treatment?

Treatment with the InterX should be delivered in batches. Whenever you treat chronic pain, you should at least have eight subsequent treatments. In case of the very chronic pain, give yourself up to sixteen treatments. After you completed a course of treatments you MUST have a break, even if you still experiencing pain. The body needs rest and put into action the result from your frequent stimulations. Typically, after 1 or 2 weeks since you stopped your treatments you will have a sustained pain relief. If you don’t get this result, you should contact me and we will analyse your case and make the corresponding changes into your treatment program.

What can interfere with the InterX treatments?

Various factors can influence the treatment outcome from the InterX. Most important to consider:

• Age (younger people respond quicker to the treatment);

• Current medication (certain painkillers impede effect from the InterX treatments. Please consult your doctor or a trained InterX therapist for advice);

• Life style / bad habits;

• Your compliance with recommended program.

At what age can you use the device?

InterX technology is very safe, there is no age restriction. However, children and elderly should be treated using a minimum intensity of stimulation, where they feel only pleasant vibration or ‘tingling’. Treatment time is also recommended to be reduced for younger children. Please contact me, I will be able to instruct on specific cases.

How much is the device?

Because the InterX is imported from the US the price may vary based on the exchange rate. Please contact me and I will advise you the current price.
