IMPORTANT NOTICE TO OUR CUSTOMERS

? Payments not received before the due date are considered past due and service is subject to disconnection.

? Failure to receive a bill does not exempt the customer from payment, late charges, or disconnection of service.

? All forwarded charges are considered past due and are subject to a 10 percent late fee.

? A $30 service charge or five percent of the face amount, whichever is greater, of the returned item will be applied to all returned checks or credit card chargebacks.

? A $60 service charge is applied on all disconnections. Standard reconnection is next business day.

? It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure the Department of Water Resources has access to all water meters at all times. Failure to allow access may result in estimated readings or additional charges to gain meter access.

? Due to weekends and holidays, billing dates may fluctuate from month to month.

? Meter tampering is illegal and violators are subject to fines of up to $1,000 and prosecution per offense, in addition to any damages or losses.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Visit paymybill to pay your bill, sign up for automatic payments, update your personal information, or to start, stop, and transfer service.

Our automated phone payment system is available 24/7 at 678.376.6800.

Make your payment in person at our office or drive thru during regular business hours (Monday ? Friday, 8:00am ? 5:00pm) at 684 Winder Highway in Lawrenceville. After hours drive thru drop-box is available.

Mail checks to Gwinnett County Department of Water Resources: PO Box 71225, Charlotte, NC 28272-1225. Please allow up to 10 business days for mailing and processing.

Through a Western Union QuickCollect agent: us/en/find-locations.html Please allow up to three days for payment processing. Please call our office at 678.376.6800 to confirm receipt of any payment made on the day of a scheduled disconnection.
