Sewall, Inc., provides health-related statistical analysis and programming services to government agencies, foundations, universities, and commercial firms. Sewall, Inc. does not offer a software package or any other product for sale.

In a typical assignment the client has already collected the data. Sewall, Inc. then:

• Cleans and verifies the data

• Works with the client to address data errors

• Constructs a database from which statistical analysis can be conducted

• Integrates this database with other available databases

• Develops standard statistical reports

• Performs ad hoc statistical analysis

• Develops a system based on the database and statistical analyses

DESCRIPTION OF IT SERVICES AND PRICING

(a) Description of Services

Applicable SIN: SIN 132-51, Professional Information Technology Services

Sewall, Inc., provides health-related statistical analysis and programming services to government agencies, foundations, universities, and commercial firms. Sewall, Inc. does not offer a software package or any other product for sale.

(b) Pricing

• Labor Category: Senior Analyst/Programmer (II)

Minimum/General Experience: Eight (8) years of technical experience that applies to statistical analysis of and programming for large health-related databases. Requires competence in all phases of system analysis and programming, including a minimum of five (5) years programming experience in SAS or an equivalent statistical package, five (5) years analyis of a programming for national and/or state health-related databases, and three (3) years of project management.

Functional Responsibility: analytic data base design and complex statistical analysis, which includes: cleaning and verifying the client’s data, working with the client to address data errors, constructing a database from which statistical analysis can be conducted, integrating this database with other available databases, developing standard statistical reports, performing ad hoc statistical analyses, and developing a system based on the database and statistical analyses.

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science,

GSA approved pricing (hourly rate): $116.27 (April 16, 2009 – September 25, 2010)

• Labor Category: Principal Analyst/Programmer (III)

Minimum/General Experience: Fifteen (15) years of technical experience that applies to statistical analysis of and programming for large health-related databases. Requires competence in all phases of system analysis and programming, including a minimum of ten (10) years programming experience in SAS or an equivalent statistical package, ten (10) years analysis of a programming for national and/or state health-related databases, and five (5) years of project management.

Rates quoted above are based on the work being performed at Sewall, Inc.’s office.
