What is PC Magnum?

PC Magnum is a strong privacy scanner that lists and categorizes information recorded on your PC. All of the websites you've visited, pictures you've viewed, documents, cookies, and image files are recorded on your system and can be seen by intruders. PC Magnum shows you the images stored in cache and removes them.

There is nothing accidently left behind. PC Magnum is easy to understand and provides a thumbnail picture of each cached image file.

Purchasing PC Magnum

Visit the webpage for PC Magnum and click on the Buy Now button on the right side. If you already have the free scan version of PC Magnum installed, click on the shopping cart button at the bottom center of the PC Magnum home screen.

You will then be taken to the purchase page where you can complete your purchase details. You will be able to review your details before placing the order.

Purchasing a PC Magnum subscription will allow you to clean your PC of all tracks left on your PC, including cached image files and history. Prior to purchasing a PC Magnum subscription, you will be able to scan your system. However, you will not be able to automatically remove the files that were found.

Getting Started

As soon as the product is installed PC Magnum will start automatically. After the initial launch, PC Magnum can be accessed using the Start Menu or Desktop Icon. To find PC Magnum in the Start Menu, click on Start in the lower left hand corner of your desktop. Look for the All Programs button, or for the list containing all of your programs. In this list you'll find a folder titled PC Pitstop where PC Magnum will be.

You can also click on the gray PC Magnum shield on your desktop if you elected to add a desktop icon when you installed the product. This gives you a quick way to start PC Magnum without having to go to the Start Menu.

Registration

There is no need to register PC Magnum as it is registered automatically. Simply login using the email and password provided at the time of purchase. You do not need to type in a license key, it is automatically associated to your account.

Number of Installations

Your PC Magnum Home subscription allows for installation on up to 5 PCs. Once you have reached your 5 installation limit you will be allowed to upgrade your subscription. You can also remove outdated computers from your account by clicking the red minus sign on the PC Magnum home screen.

The Home Screen of PC Magnum will allow you to manage all of your computers. Here there are several actions you can take for your account.

Account Settings

Login to PC Magnum

It's important to login to PC Magnum as soon as you get it installed to ensure that your purchase is applied and all features are available. You'll find the login button in the lower left corner of PC Magnum after you finish installing it.

Update Account Information

If you're logged into your account, you'll see your account information such as name, email, license key, and expiration date in the upper right corner. Beneath that information will be an edit button where you can access all of your account information and update if necessary.

Create a new Account

If you don't already have a PC Magnum account and want to create one, click the login button in the lower left corner and choose "I don't have an existing account". Now you can enter the information and create your account.

Scanning

To start a new scan with PC Magnum, click the Scan button (Radar Icon). This will run an immediate scan, and you'll see the scan progress bar appear at the bottom. You can either

watch the progress as the scan continues, or come back when it's complete.

The length of time required for scanning can vary according to the size of your cache files and the amount of time since the last cleaning. The normal time required is only a matter of a few minutes.

Scan Results

After the scan completes you'll be brought to the results page that lays out each section of the scan and what action was taken. From here you'll get a quick summary of what PC Magnum has found, and can look deeper into each category specifically by using the tabs at the top, or by clicking that sections tile.

After reviewing any of the individual sections, simply click the Fix All button in the lower right hand corner to finish the clean up; it's that easy.

Forensics Report Details

? Deleted Files: Deleted files go to your Recycle Bin. They are still available and can be easily accessed. PC Magnum will remove these files for good.

? Sites Visited: Every time you visit or access a website a record is kept in your

browser(s). These records are stored for an indefinite amount of time. If you use multiple browsers, you will have multiple tracks that can be accessed and followed. Get rid of these lists in one easy click.

? Cookies: Cookies do not carry viruses, and cannot install malware on your computer, however, they can be used by spyware track your browsing activities. They are put there by the sites you visit so they will recognize you from past visits. Cookies can be stolen by hackers to access your web accounts.

? Images: When you visit a webpage, there are images on the pages you visit. Each one of these images is stored in your browser's cache. PC Magnum shows you the actual image and deletes it completely.

? Recent Documents: All office documents, PDF documents, Text Documents, Multimedia, are kept as temp files. Remove them with PC Magnum.

? Facebook Images: If you've seen it on Facebook it is resting in your temp cache. See the actual images and remove them forever.

Additional Computers

PC Magnum can be installed on up to 5 computers with a standard license. This allows you to place it on every computer in your house and keep your private files cleaned. In order to add it to additional computers, simply download the product again from our website by clicking on Scan Now on the new computer and install it.

After you install it on the new computer, make sure to click on Login in the lower left corner and login with your account details you setup while purchasing the product. This will add the computer to your account and use one of your licenses.

Remove Computers

If you have an old computer you're no longer using or had to get rid of there is no reason to waste a PC Magnum license on it! You can remove that computer from your account by opening PC Magnum on another computer and clicking the red minus sign in the My PCs view next to the old computer.
