Cornell Notes: Dividing Decimals
Adding/ Subtracting with Unlike Denominators: Method 1: Use a common Denominator. Find the LCM to find a common denominator. Example: 1/4 + 1/3 The LCD of 4 and 3 is 12. So 1/4 = 4/12 . 1/3 = 3/12 . Write the fractions with the same denominator. Then add the numerators. Leave the denominators the same and simplify. So 4/12 + 3/12 = 7/12. ................
