Showing Possession

Apuntes: Showing Possession

1) Using de to show possession

In Spanish, ’s does not exist. To tell what belongs to someone or to show relationships, use [noun] + de + owner.

Example: El gemelo de Cristina → Cristina’s twin brother

Los amigos de Juan → ________________________________

2) Possessive adjectives (adjetivos posesivos)

Possessive adjectives (my, your, etc.) are another way to tell what belongs to someone or to show relationships. Complete the chart with the Spanish forms of possessive adjectives.

|His/Her, Its, Your | | |
