Quality Control Advisor? - Managing Users with Freddie Mac Access Manager

Overview

Effective November 11, 2019, the Quality Control Advisor? Customer Administrator role and functionality will be transitioned to Freddie Mac Access Manager (`Access Manager'), our comprehensive self-service provisioning tool.

What does that mean?

You will now use the Freddie Mac Access Manager provisioning tool to manage user roles within your organization instead of using the Quality Control Advisor tool.

What is Freddie Mac Access Manager?

Freddie Mac Access Manager is a self-service user provisioning tool that allows you to create and manage users and effectively control access to Freddie Mac tools. Freddie Mac Access Manager simplifies user provisioning, saving you time and effort.

With Freddie Mac Access Manager, you may:

? Create and self-manage users and effectively control your access to most of our sourcing and servicing tools, including Quality Control Advisor.

? Set users' application access at any time ? Get your users' ID and password within 24 hours. Users will be active in Quality Control Advisor after the evening update that takes place at 6p.m., Eastern Standard Time.

? Eliminate paper request forms and receive access in real time - automating the provisioning process also means no more paper forms, helping clients make the move to a paperless environment.

? Improve transparency with on-demand reporting and periodic recertification of users.

? Real-Time Reporting - Freddie Mac Access Manager also provides user data in real-time. Reports can be easily downloaded in PDF and the CSV formats on demand, improving transparency.

What actions do I need to take?

Freddie Mac has transferred access rights that you currently have from Quality Control Advisor to Freddie Mac Access Manager for you. Once you receive notice that your access has been granted, you will need to log in to Access Manager to ensure you are set up correctly. Beginning November 11, 2019, you can begin managing users in your organization, which includes adding users and granting access to Quality Control Advisor in Freddie Mac Access Manager.

Most administrators for Quality Control Advisor have been migrated as primary administrators. This allows you to utilize all the benefits of Freddie Mac Access Manager. You can create, manage, and provision your users' access to many Freddie Mac Single-Family sourcing and servicing tools and applications. You will need to appoint an executive administrator for your organization. You can request to expedite this process allowing you the full benefits of Freddie Mac Access Manager by completing the Get Started form.

In most cases, you will be able to use your current Freddie Mac login credentials. This transition should have no impact to your current login process to Freddie Mac's Loan AdvisorSM unless you work in an organization that has recently established a new counterparty relationship. In this instance, you may be assigned a new user ID.

Secondary administrators are an optional role. These administrators will not migrate as primary administrators and will remain secondary.

Each newly added user will receive two emails with the subject line Freddie Mac System Access Notification for [name]. One email will contain the User ID. The other email will contain a temporary password and the tool(s) and role(s) available. Individual users can reset their single sign-on password, update their profile, and begin using Quality Control Advisor and other tools they are authorized to use.

Quality Control Advisor User Roles

You may request access for user roles within the dropdowns available in Freddie Mac Access Manager.

When provisioning users, administrators must add both the Seller and the Servicer role for each specific user role requested in Quality Control Advisor.

For example, you must select the specified user role for the Seller and repeat the process for that same user role for the Servicer. (e.g. Management Reporting Seller and Management Reporting Servicer).

Additional Information 1. Data in Quality Control Advisor is associated with an organization's main Seller Family number. Individual Seller/Servicer numbers are aggregated under the main family number. Only users assigned to a specified family number will see the associated data within the application. We recommend users choose the "select all" default in Freddie Mac Access Manager. For example, it is possible that a user will not see data in the application if the user individual Seller/Servicer number is not selected.

Please note: Quality Control Advisor provisions to the assigned Seller/Servicer numbers first, and then to the roles assigned. (e.g., if Central Processing Seller (group 1) and Remedy Management Servicer (group 2) are chosen for one user, the user will see group 1 and group 2 in both roles.)
