Work with Engineering Print to produce material as requested by the customer using various Ricoh and Canon-Oce multifunction printers. This would include printing, binding, scanning, shipping of print requests, maps and forms. Unloads trucks that are delivering stock to the warehouse or to other areas located in the warehouse building.Individual tasks related to the duty.Receives all materials and products used by MDOT forces ( the receiving function also includes literature)Unloads materials, verifies for overages, shortages, damages and proper shipping documents (such as freight bill and packing slips)Prepares appropriate documents to place materials or products into the warehouse locations.Enters material and product information into automated warehouse inventory system using computer keyboard or other electronic data entry device.Ensures appropriate documentation of files.Must be capable of lifting 100 pounds and climb a ladder up to 30’ above the floorMust exercise good judgment in making decisions based on established methods and procedures.License to operate a fork truckDuty 2General Summary of Duty 2% of Time25Operate various multi-function printers including Canon/Oce TDS 860 and Ricoh 8100. Both are high speed network printers that require knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office to run. Involves shipping of supplies to all MDOT locations via Freight Truck, UPS, DTMB Pony, or MDOT vehicles.Individual tasks related to the duty.Maintains daily shipping schedules.Determines mode of shipment of warehouse orders, e.g. Freight Truck, UPS, DTMB Pony, MDOT vehicles, or ID mail.Contacts appropriate carrier for deliveryPrepares warehouse order for shipment, by ensuring proper packaging according to US regulations.Generates shipping document from automated inventory system and prepares other required shipping documents and ensures documents are filled out correctly and filed.Duty 6General Summary of Duty 6% of Time10The distribution of various MDOT forms, publications, print requests and the Transportation Map using ID mail, US mail and UPS Worldship.
