Come join your friends and fellow plastics engineers at our Christmas Social Meeting. Spouses are encouraged to join and we will have a gift drawing at the end of the evening. Enter the Banquet area using the east side entrance nearest the Holiday Inn. The Holiday Inn is offering special overnight accommodations at $99. For reservations phone the hotel directly at 330-334-7666 and request the Galaxy Event Rate.
Sign up early as the meeting is the first Monday.

The Firestone High School Madrigal Singers
The Madrigal Singers have been performing at Akron SPE holiday gatherings for many years. They are one of six choral ensembles taught at the Akron School of the Arts at Firestone High School. This ensemble consists of advanced singers who excel in sight-reading, vocal technique and musicianship. They are chosen based on academic and character references and perform all a' cappella literature without an adult director. The Madrigal Singers have represented Akron at local, state and national level professional conferences, as well a private functions including weddings and funerals. The director, Mr. Chad Pitman, is a graduate of Baldwin Wallace University. He has received numerous awards for outstanding work in music education/performance and been invited to serve as guest conductor for many school and community choral ensembles in northeast Ohio.
