General Format

❑ Two copies – one highlighted to indicate block or point form

❑ Highlighted copy has transition words clearly marked in some way

❑ Highlighted copy has compare/contrast words marked in some way

❑ Each paragraph is indented and paper is word processed

❑ Outline and all rough work included

❑ Checklist is completely filled in and rubric self-evaluated

Introduction

❑ Contains an “attention getter” or “hook” Type? ___________________________

❑ Clear thesis that indicates purpose

❑ Plan of development – lists points in order they will be presented in parallel structure

Supporting Paragraphs
