UPU Market Research Bulletin 2

The UPU recently hosted a session on UPU value-added solutions during the 2016 POST-EXPO, a major annual event for the international postal, express and mailing industry. POST-EXPO provides an invaluable platform for postal companies from across the globe to discover new trends, developments and ideas that will shape the future of the postal sector.

With e-commerce listed as a top priority for the future Istanbul World Postal Strategy, the UPU hosted a session at POST-EXPO on innovative e-commerce solutions including the Customs Declaration System (CDS), the Global Monitoring System, POST*CODE and live.post. This issue of the Market Research Bulletin contains articles drawn from the presentations made during that session.

The market-ready solutions presented in the articles demonstrate the UPU's commitment to facilitating greater interoperability between the extensive global postal network and its external stakeholders, especially its supply chain partners. The solutions also demonstrate the UPU's commitment to anticipating and meeting the changing needs of customers.
