Experience Orlando Live Endoscopy 2020

AdventHealth Center for Interventional Endoscopy is pleased to invite you to experience Orlando Live Endoscopy 2020. This symposium is designed to provide participants a comprehensive education in interventional endoscopy. It will have eight components: live demonstrations, state-of-the-art lectures, breakfast sessions, interactive luncheon sessions, industry-sponsored satellite symposiums, self-assessment, hands-on-training and a parallel symposium for nurses and technicians. The live demonstrations will encompass ERCP, EUS, tissue resection, third space endoscopy, luminal therapies and bariatrics. In order to maximize your educational experience, a major focus of the live demonstrations will be to teach critical procedural steps and technical nuances.

State-of-the-art lectures will cover key topics and will be followed by a lively Q & A session. Panel discussions have been incorporated where interesting cases will be deliberated with the active participation of all delegates via the use of a dedicated mobile app. Small group breakfast sessions will provide an opportunity for the delegates to interact with faculty in an informal setting. The last day of the symposium is dedicated to hands-on training and didactic sessions that will cover bariatrics, pancreaticobiliary endoscopy and tissue resection. A syllabus book will be provided to all participating delegates that will contain critical information relevant to the practice of endoscopy.

A new addition to OLE 2020 will be a parallel symposium dedicated to endoscopy nurses and technicians. A world-class endoscopy unit does not only require the best people, it requires the best team, which means the endoscopy staff must be well-trained. We encourage you to bring your nurses and technicians to OLE 2020 to attend the parallel symposium which will be dedicated to their education and hands-on training.

More details about the parallel symposium is available at .

We sincerely hope that you will find Orlando Live Endoscopy 2020 to be of the highest educational value, as well as an enjoyable and an unparalleled experience.

Come join us in Orlando, where the magic of endoscopy begins!

Live Demonstrations

Demonstrations will be performed by international experts at the Center for Interventional Endoscopy and will be transmitted live. Our goal is to highlight the latest developments in endoscopic approaches to gastrointestinal and pancreaticobiliary diseases. Cutting-edge techniques and the latest technology will be demonstrated in a practical manner to enable participants to incorporate this experience into their daily clinical practice. A major focus of the demonstrations will be on "when-to-do" and "how-to-do".

Live procedures will cover six major techniques:

1

ERCP

2

Diagnostic and Interventional EUS

3

Tissue Resection

4

Third Space Endoscopy

5

Luminal Therapies (hemostasis, strictures

and acid reflux)

6

Bariatrics

"The case presentations, live demos and discussions with the international faculty and panel were simply remarkable. The educational context of the Orlando Live symposium is exceptional in so many ways, which is why it has gained wide global recognition."

Tajana Pavic, MD, PhD University Hospital Center Sestre milosrdnice | Croatia

Interactive Luncheon Sessions

Industry-sponsored luncheon sessions will deliberate critical issues in patient management pertaining to endoscopy via video case presentations and audience interaction. On day two of the symposium, an interactive luncheon session outlining steps required for developing a successful therapeutic practice will be conducted with participation of invited and CIE faculty members.

Industry-sponsored Satellite Symposium

Industry-sponsored satellite symposiums will be held on August 26th. Speakers will include international and national faculty, who will speak on new endoscopic developments in pancreatic-biliary diseases, tissue resection and their impact on clinical practice.

Self-Assessment

Interesting cases will be presented by the course directors in a video format. This will enable participants to self-evaluate their knowledge base in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy.

Hands-On Workshop

The objective of this workshop is to not only teach new techniques, but refine existing practices in order to provide delegates with a comprehensive experience. The workshop will also include didactic lectures that focus mainly on techniques and safe practices. Key areas that will be covered include:

? EUS-Guided Tissue Acquisition ? Lumen-Apposing Metal Stent Placement ? Celiac Plexus Interventions and Fiducial Placement ? Biliary Cannulation Techniques ? Biliary Interventions: Sphincterotomy, Stenting,

Cholangioscopy ? Ampullectomy

? Tissue Resection ? Tunneling ? Tissue Ablation: RFA, Cryotherapy ? Hemostasis ? Perforation Closure ? Endoscopic Suturing for Bariatric Procedures

Parallel Symposium for Nurses and Technicians

Developing a world-class endoscopy unit requires a team effort. It is critical for physicians to partner with dedicated support staff to achieve this mission. With this objective in mind, a parallel two-day symposium for endoscopy nurses and technicians will be held at the AdventHealth Nicholson Center in Celebration, Florida (a 10 mile distance from the OLE 2020 conference center). Key aspects of the OLE 2020 live demonstrations will be transmitted to the Nicholson Center so nurses and technicians understand the critical role they play in procedural outcomes. Additionally, a stateof-the-art hands-on lab will be conducted where delegates will gain valuable experience learning new techniques and practical tips. Didactic lectures and small group breakfast sessions will be held so that delegates can focus on niche areas such as tissue resection, ERCP, EUS or bariatrics, so that they can assist their physician colleagues in developing a comprehensive center of endoscopic excellence.
