1. Golden Retreat - Terry Redlin canvas

Third edition of the Terry Redlin Retreat Canvas series. Redlin’s use of earthly colors, blazing sunrises and sunsets, and nostalgic themes are often cited for his immense popularity. 24”x36”

2. Silent Refuge - Canada Geese – Glenn D. Chambers

Print # 2 of only 25. Long time DU Supporter and nationally known wildlife artist and photographer, Glenn D. Chambers offers a signed and numbered color remarqued Giclee print of his newest release!

3. Mark Twain Lake - 4 day cabin stay

Tom and Linda McCrackin have graciously donated a 4-day stay in their cabin at Florida, Missouri between the North and South Forks of the Salt River which form Mark Twain Lake. Time period is a mutually agreeable date with Tom and Linda who use the cabin often. It is a 100-year old cabin with a full bath, 2 bedrooms and can sleep up to 6. Stove, microwave and refrigerator/freezer are in the kitchen. A circle drive allows easy access for boat trailers. Mark Twain’s home and boat ramp to the lake on Route U are less than 1 mile away.

4. “Evening Sprig” - Peter Mathios

Peter Mathios marks his second time in the Ducks Unlimited National Art Package as the 2009 International Artist of the Year. Shows a group of Pintails dropping in and committing as the sun goes down in the Suisun Marsh of Northern California. Printed pencil remarque in the margin.

5. 1800s style Waterfowlers Trunk - Don Brown

Don Brown a consistent decoy contributor to Missouri DU has again generously donated this “Waterfowlers Trunk” Before the advent of waterproof bags and duffels, the Duck Hunter needed a wooden box to keep his lunch dry and to carry the drinks, extra shells, gear, and shotgun. After getting to the blind, the box provided a seat. Handmade from white pine with an original mallard drake engraved and hand painted on the front. A rugged heavy duty field box with a rustic look, equipped with a lift-out tray, padded gun rack, and four extra shell holes in the side handles. Hand finished with natural stain and wax. Handmade in Don’s shop from his original design. Thanks Don!

6. Missouri Duck Hunt – 2 day, 2 person hunt

DeClue's Riverbottom Farm is donating a 2 Person 2 Day waterfowl hunt. Meals and Lodging ARE INCLUDED. This farm is located 90 miles north of St. Louis. You will be hunting in pit blinds and layout blinds on a 500 acre private duck lake, flooded with japanese millet, smartweed, buckwheat and some corn. It is located between Mark Twain Lake, Thomas Hill and Long Branch. Hunt must be used by 12-31-2009.Guide tips not included.

7. Oak Wine Barrell Rack – Bud Doane

There's only one. Only one custom crafted wine barrel with the Missouri Ducks Unlimited logo etched in the decorative glass top. Bud Doane, of the North Skunk Sawmill and Market Inc., has generously donated this unique item to our auction tonight. This piece is crafted from an actual oak wine barrel and comes with shelving to hold 15 wine bottles, an interior rack to hold 12 wine glasses, and subtle interior lighting. It will look great in your family room, kitchen or wet bar area. Thanks Bud!

8. “Duck Masters” - Jim Killen

A companion piece to the 2008 DU puppy piece, Duck Daze. These pups are all grown up with experience under their collars. Includes five Retriever breeds: Golden; Yellow, Chocolate, and Black Labradors; Chesapeake Bay. Jim Killen is known around the world as one of the leading dog artists. Image Size: 25 ½” x 17”

10. Argentina Dove Shooting Trip

Lodge: Pica Zuro Lodge, Dove Shooting, Córdoba, Argentina.-

Quantity of hunts donated: 30 trips for 2 people each, 3 nights and 3 full days shooting.

Value of the trip: $ 2,370 per person, this is USD $4,740 per trip.

The trip certificate includes 3 nights and 3 days shooting for eared dove in Córdoba, Argentina for 2 guns. Included in voucher: The trip includes all field guides, meals, rooming, transfers to and from the fields, beverages (alcoholic and non alcoholic).

Not Included in voucher: Tips, airfare to Córdoba, Transfer to and from the airport to the lodge (approximately $350 round trip per person), licenses (approx. $65 per person per day), gun rental (in case they want to shoot with our guns) and shells (approx. $12.50/box). Trip dates are on a first come, first served basis. Trips are for the 2009-2010 seasons.

13. Canvasback Pair - Jeff Cockerham

Patterned after decoys by Paul Dobrowski of Monmouth County New Jersey. Paul’s dissatisfaction with equipment and decoys available at the time was instrumental in developing his interest in fashioning his own. He is particularly adept at carving decoys for hunting, but as evidenced by his numerous ‘best of show’ awards, he is an excellent decorative carver as well.

Anthony Padgett’s Diligence-Yellow Lab branded onto the front. Removable interior tray. Lots of fine details including double brass latches, leather carry handles and dove-tailed corners. Made in the USA. 23 ¾” x 18” x 18”

15. “Just Us” - Ralph McDonald

Based on the DU painting by Ralph McDonald. Depicts a boy and his father coming back from a hunt. Cast in resin and painted with a bronze finish and mounted on a black base with a brass title plate and embossed artist’s signature. Features a felt covered bottom with the Ducks Unlimited logo, title and edition number. 11 ½” T x 9” D x 6” W

17. Buzzin Beauties” - Bronze sculpture

Created by Ronnie Wells, this sculpture depicts three Green-Winged Teal in flight. Bronze has a patina finish and is mounted on a wooden base . The bottom of the base is covered with felt and is stamped with the title and DU logo. 18” x 17 ¾”.

18. Old Coot Hall of “Fame”

Your winning bid for this item will allow you to pick the next honoree for this prestigious society. This traveling award will remain with the honoree until the next convention when they can unload it on someone else.
