The Adjective Clause Worksheet

An adjective clause is used to modify a pronoun or noun in the main clause. It often uses these relative pronouns: who, whose, whom, which, and that. It sometimes uses when or where. Occasionally, the relative pronoun is understood or implied instead of directly used.

Examples (adjective clauses are underlined. The word it modifies is italicized.
