Health Benefits Premium Rates– 2011 Biweekly Deductions
AFT, CWA, IFPTE, GRANT and non-unit employees
All full time AFT, CWA, IFPTE, Grant, Non-Unit employees pay a standard contribution of 1.5% of their annual base salary. The contribution will be on a biweekly basis and will apply regardless of the type of medical plan or level of coverage. This contribution will also apply to those who only select prescription drug coverage.
Employees may select from the following list of health insurance plans:

Prescription co-pays
EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2011
There are three tiers to the prescription coverage. The third tier establishes a higher co-payment for brand name drugs, where a generic equivalent is available. Please note the following schedule for prescription co-payments:

The biweekly payroll deduction for the employee’s health insurance will depend on his/her Campus Police union participation.
PBA UNION
All full time Police Officers hired before 7/1/07 will pay a fixed contribution from their biweekly salary. The biweekly payroll deduction will be based on the level of coverage regardless of the health insurance plan selected.

Police Officers in the PBA hired after 7/1/2007 pay 1.5% of their base salary bi-weekly for the health insurance.
NJLESA Union
All full time Police Sergeants will pay a fixed contribution from their biweekly salary. Employees may select either plan: NJ Direct 15, Aetna HMO or the Cigna HealthCare.
The biweekly payroll deduction will be based on the level of coverage regardless of the health insurance plan selected.

NJSOLEA UNION
All full time Campus Police Lieutenants pay 1.5% of their base salary bi-weekly for the health insurance. The deduction is the same regardless of the level of coverage or health insurance plan selected.
