|JOB PURPOSE |

|Responsible for the overall management of the vendor / supplier management process and to manage any staff directly associated with this function. |

| |

|Role holder will develop the capabilities and competencies by applying a disciplined vendor management framework and will maintain discipline and |

|achieve business outcomes with strong vendor governance. |

|Through the design of a vendor management office (VMO) — including roles, responsibilities and governance, deliver program agility that leverages the |

|capabilities of related organizations, including procurement and sourcing and delivers an agile and "fast track" suite of processes to accelerate vendor|

|due diligence and digital initiatives. |

|RESOURCES MANAGEMENT |

|Budgetary/financial framework: Responsibility for compliance of external vendors against agreed budgets. |

|KEY RESPONSIBILITIES |

| |

|The main activities to be performed include: |

| |

|Assisting in the development of contracts or other documents for third party vendors / suppliers |

|Ensuring that any contracts developed are aligned with those of the business (e.g. SLAs) |

|Ensuring all roles and relationships between lead and any sub-contracted suppliers are documented and maintained (where applicable) |

|Reviewing lead suppliers’ processes to ensure that any sub-contracted suppliers are meeting their contractual obligations |

|Performing contract reviews at least annually |

|Updating contracts when required, ensuring that the Change Management process is followed |

|Maintaining a process for dealing with contractual disputes, and ensuring that any disputes are dealt with in an efficient and effective manner, |

|managing through to resolution. |

|Maintaining a process for dealing with the expected end, early end or transfer of a service |

|Monitoring, reporting on, and reviewing supplier performance against targets (KPIs, CSAT, etc.), identifying improvement actions as appropriate and |

|ensuring these actions are implemented. |

|Develop and publish vendor / supplier management policies and procedures |

|Ensure the defined supplier management process and procedures are adhered to by staff carrying out the tasks of supplier management and where |

|appropriate initiate appropriate training to rectify any non-conformance |

|Assist with the identification of new or changing supplier requirements, such as reviewing RFCs to assess impact of changes on existing contracts |

|Evaluate new & existing suppliers, including performing risk assessments, audit, and business impact analyses. |

|Perform categorisation of suppliers and contracts, including the identification of preferred suppliers |

|Maintain a supplier and contract management information system |

|Assist the General Counsel and any assistants in the development of new or changing contracts, ensuring relevant service targets are incorporated |

|Hold supplier review meetings on a regular basis, ensuring remedial actions are taken when deficiencies are identified |

|Manage the scheduled end of term of a contract (including its renewal or cessation), or its early termination |

|Liaise with other procurement and legal SMEs, updating asset and budget information as necessary. |

|Manage the transference of service from one supplier to another. |

|Specific Experience: |

| |

|Previous supplier / vendor management experience across a large enterprise |

|Experience of developing supplier contracts and ideally in a managed services environment or relationship |

|Practical experience of chairing meetings in a role focused on relationship management |

|Good negotiating skills, especially when determining the contents of new contracts or managing contractual disputes, and ideally experience of managing |

|tender or procurement processes |

|Educational & line management skills, providing training and guidance to staff involved in executing process activities |

|Ability to work with, influence and communicate with all levels of staff within the organisation, and especially partners and other related third parties|

|Excellent attention to detail |

|Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in the creation of policies, procedures and management reports (such as reporting on |

|metrics and key performance indicators). |

|through supporting multi-channel access and efficient self-service processes, integrated front / back-end and case management systems. Deliver seamless |

|Member and staff processes, ensuring the security and integrity of information. Implementation will increase terminal, laptops and infrastructure |

|exponentially with an expected additional 180 servers. Significant Data Warehouse implementation and greater architectural complexity, integrating |

|existing / new applications and Member self-service. |
