As an agribusiness management student, your chances to gain real-world experience through research and internships are almost limitless.

++UNDERGRAD RESEARCH. Many faculty members hire undergraduate students to assist with projects. You might work on projects ranging from determining the total economic impact of an ethanol plant to designing a marketing strategy for a new genetically modified crop.

++INTERNSHIPS. Internship opportunities are available with agricultural marketing cooperatives and commodity organizations; state and federal agencies; major agribusiness companies; and pharmaceutical firms. The hands-on training will prepare you for your career.
