BLS for Healthcare Providers 2008 Schedule

Staff are invited to attend a BLS for Healthcare Provider Renewal class. The class runs 2.0 hours, following the AHA Renewal course format. Participants may obtain a book for review from your manager or staff educator. Books may also be purchased from the FAHC Training Center, cost $11. In accordance with Science Guidelines 2005, the AHA has clearly defined requirements for participants to obtain a BLS card. Please arrive prepared to demonstrate 2 full minutes of quality chest compressions at the rate of 100 compressions per minute. Please dress comfortably.

BLS Training is open to all RNs, LPNs, LNAs, RTs Medical Assts, EMTs, MDs, & Allied Health staff. In addition, individuals not employed by FAHC are welcome to attend when space permits. There is a $40 fee for any individual not employed by FAHC.
