The second administration (with reading) must be 7 or more days from the first administration (with reading) and completed prior to the July 17, 2015 SON deadline. The above requirement is tricky so we created these examples to clarify:Scenario One:? AcceptableFirst administration date:?June 16, 2015Date read:? June 18, 2015Second administration date: July 1, 2015Date read:? July 3, 2015This is acceptable because the first administration (with reading) is done on or after May 24, 2015, and the second administration (with reading) is 7 or more than days from the first?test and prior to the July 20, 2015 SON deadline.Scenario Two:? Not acceptableFirst administration date:??January 4, 2015Date read:? January 6, 2015Second administration date:? April 1, 2015Date read:? April 3, 2015This is not acceptable because the first and second administration is more than 90 days from the start of the 2015 fall semester.Scenario Three:? Not acceptableFirst administration date:?? May 14, 2015Date read:? May 16, 2015Second administration date:? May 19, 2015Date read:? May 21, 2015This is not acceptable because there must be at 7 or more days in between the first and second TB administration.Scenario Four:? Not acceptableFirst administration date:? June 4, 2015Date read:? June 6, 2015This is not acceptable because two TB skin administrations with readings are required.Note:? If you have a history of a positive TB test and have had a negative blood assay the above scenarios do not apply to you. You must provide the following documentation:If a prior positive reactor to TST, must show documentation of a negative blood essay within 90 days.If prior positive blood assay, present a negative chest x-ray within past 2 years, be free of productive cough, night sweats or unexplained loss of weight.Note: This blood assay may be obtained at Williamson County Health Department at reduced cost.Laptop Inspection – June 8, 2015 to August 19, 2015All incoming nursing students are required to have a laptop for the duration of the nursing program; passing a laptop inspection (download forms below) is a condition of your admission.
