|Top tip for making one extra booking |

|Make hotel and car reservations via the graphical screens |

|There are several ways to make that additional hotel/car reservation using the graphical screens within Travelport Smartpoint. Make both car and hotel reservations through |

|the graphical Car/Hotel Availability search, via the interactive calendar or within a booked air segment. |

Accessing Travelport Rooms and More

Users of Travelport Smartpoint are able to gain quick access to Travelport Rooms and More content. From the Hotel Availability Response screen, agents can click on the bed icon located on the right hand side of the screen.

Or go direct by using this website

[pic]

Rooms and more confirms the hotel in the local currency of the country where the booking is e.g.

For invoicing purposes for equivalent CAD value, it is recommended to add 3% to the estimate provided, as credit card companies usually have a currency exchange surcharge.  So, the cost would be COP 1037510, which is APPROXIMATELY CAD 406.28  ($394.45 x 1.03).  It still won’t match the exact charge on the credit card, but will be a lot closer to the charged amount.

Reminder - S*REMIND ME or S*2DJ2/REMIND ME

Some useful Apollo formats are in this BAR e.g.

2N/FLIGHT INFORMATION: CURRENT DATE F:AC880 SPECFIC F:AC880/30

SEP

3N/CHECK ELECTRONIC TICEKT NUMBER: *TE/0012167899801

4N/LOOK UP A PASSENGER WITH ONLY THE LAST NAME: S*XXX-NEVER

Agencia booking for a traveller who does not have a profile or when you do an Agencia booking and you get this from CTT:

The customer number in the T- fields, was found in the wrong format. Use this command in Apollo: T-CA-00@12345 (12345=customer number)

Agencia adds the name to the address where we add the company name..

If you try a MV/ the profile is blocked from moving over when it sees info already on the PNR, and you get this error SNGL ITEM FLD/NOT ENT/W-ALLE.

Do a C:W- enter and then move  your profile over (e.g.S*allen MV/) and it  works.

|Basic Economy fares are now available for purchase, for first travel on April 18, 2017. |

| |

|Today, fares are available in select U.S. domestic markets. In the coming months, United will expand Basic Economy availability into |

|additional markets, including short haul Latin America markets.  |

| |

|Five things to remember about Basic Economy   |

| |

|[pic] |Identifying Basic Economy fares |

| |Basic Economy fares will always have the 7th character of the fare basis code as “B” for Basic Economy |

|[pic] |or “E” for standard United Economy. The booking code “N” will not match the first character of the fare |

| |basis code. |

| | |

| |Know the fare restrictions and travel experience |

| |Basic Economy fares have important restrictions on seat selection, upgrades, carry-on baggage |

| |allowances, and more. Review the Basic Economy travel experience. |

| | |

|[pic] |Restriction of fares must be disclosed to traveler  |

| |Similar to baggage fees and codeshare operations, it is the responsibility of the travel agent or ticket|

|[pic] |provider to properly disclose the conditions of a Basic Economy fare to the traveler, per United's |

| |Booking and Ticketing Policy. This policy is updated to reflect the conditions and restrictions of Basic|

| |Economy fares. |

| | |

| |Self-service agency rebooking options |

| |United's agency rebooking parameters reflect the restrictions of Basic Economy and how the fares can be |

| |handled if impacted by irregular operations or unacceptable schedule changes. |

| | |

|[pic] |Help and resources are available |

| |There are several resources available for travel agents, corporate customers and travelers to learn |

| |more about Basic Economy fares.   |

That's right. Getting to and from the Big Apple is easier than ever thanks to United's New York / Newark (EWR) hub. Faster by rideshare or taxi to most of Manhattan compared to JFK and only 30 minutes by train via Penn Station. Don't waste time sitting in traffic or construction and book EWR today.

British Airways has plans for a sister budget airline, set to launch in June.

The new long-haul budget airline by parent company IAG is called ‘Level’ and will be based in Barcelona, which is also the hub for Vueling, IAG’s Spanish no-frills airline. Level will debut with two new Airbus A330 aircraft featuring 293 economy and 21 premium economy seats, and will fly from Barcelona to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Buenos Aires and Punta Cana. Sister carrier Iberia will staff the pilots and cabin crew.

With the launch of Level, IAG will boast five main airline brands, including Aer Lingus, British Airways, Iberia and Vueling.

Fares will start from €99 for a one-way ticket, with checked luggage, meals and in-flight Internet access among the perks in premium economy. Those in economy will be able to choose what perks they want to pay for.

The new airline aims to take business away from competing low-cost airline Norwegian, which also offers flights from Barcelona to U.S. cities like Los Angeles and Oakland, both of which will also be serviced by Level. In June, Norwegian will surge ahead with expanded flights from Edinburgh and Belfast to secondary airports in the northeast U.S.

There’s no word yet if Canadian destinations could be on the horizon.

Flights on are currently on sale.

Paper declaration forms no longer required when flying into Ottawa from outside the country.

Self-serve kiosks for international travellers will be at the Ottawa airport starting March 20, the federal government has announced. They’ll be rolled out to other major Canadian airports later this year.

The kiosks — called primary inspection kiosks — will allow international travellers to verify their travel documents, complete declaration forms on screen and confirm their identity with the kiosk using facial recognition to take a photo of the traveller and compare it to a passport picture.

Travellers will also be able to use the government’s new mobile declaration app called CanBorder –  eDeclaration, which will let people complete their declaration in the app then use a generated QR code to scan at the kiosk when they arrive in Ottawa.

NEXUS travellers will be asked their declaration questions at the NEXUS kiosks in Ottawa.

Eventually, Canada Border Services Agency will phase out handing out declaration cards on airplanes.

Hello Rachel,

Please thank Lena, Peter and Danny for all they did to make my time at the Brier so special. The trip home was a bit of a challenge but we got here finally yesterday at 5:00 pm and that was all due to the hard work of Mary Beth at Premier Group.

Thanks again!
