THE CAPTAINS LADY'S OLD WORLD REMEDY OIL

The Captains Lady's Old World Remedy Oil contains a rich blend of 100% therapeutic grade essential oils known for having antiseptic, antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral properties, which have been individually proven by studies to kill viruses, bacteria, and fungus. One particular study took place at Weber State University in 1997 where results showed that just five of the essential oils used in The Captains Lady's Old World Remedy Oil had a 99.96% success rate against airborne bacteria within 10 minutes of infusing into spaces where bacteria had been exposed. When these same five essential oils were infused, together, into a contained space of bacteria, findings proved an 82% reduction in bacteria (Micrococcus luteus) found in water, air, dust and soil, a 44% reduction of

staph (Staphylococcus aureus) and a 96% reduction in sepsis (Pseudomonas aeruginosa).

The Captains Lady's Old World Remedy Oil and Old World Remedy Balm formulas contain these 5 essential oils plus 10 more for a total of 15 therapeutic oils to, both, defend you against viruses, bacteria, and fungus infections and to help you heal if you've already been targeted.

11 OLD WORLD REMEDY OIL APPLICATIONS, DIRECTIONS & PRECAUTIONS

Whether you are trying to prevent being ill or are already symptomatic, mix 3-6 drops of Old World Remedy Oil with 1 tablespoon of any other base oil you have on hand, such as Virgin Coconut, Tamanu, Olive, Almond, Grape Seed, Safflower or Jojoba, before applying to skin.

1. Topical Application for Prevention of Colds & Flu To help prevent colds and flu, massage diluted Old World Remedy Oil onto your feet in the morning and, again, at night during cold and flu season or whenever you have been around anyone ill.

NOTE: Never apply undiluted Old World Remedy Oil directly to the skin. Some of the oils are "Hot" and can burn the skin.

NOTE: DO NOT use topically on children under the age of 2. Instead, diffuse the air around them (see #6) but keep the oil out of reach at all times. For children 212 years of age, use only half the amount of diluted Old World Remedy Oil.

2. To Remedy Colds & Flu

Massage a very small amount of diluted Old World Remedy Oil onto the back of your neck, lower back (right under your waistline), the back of your upper legs, and your feet (tops and bottoms). Do this up to 4 times per day for up to 14 days, which is usually the normal recovery time for most viruses. You may also inhale the scent of the essential oils throughout the day by, either, inhaling directly from the bottle 3-4 times per day or diffusing into the air.

3. Topical Application for Cold Sores, Fever Blisters, Herpes & Shingles

Find a small, lidded container to hold 6-12 drops of Old World Remedy Oil and 2 tablespoons of Olive oil. Together, this provides a 1 - 2% essential oil ratio, which is considered extremely safe when using essential oils on the skin. For this particular remedy, you can go as high as a 5% ratio (30 drops to 2 tablespoons of carrier oil, such as Olive or Coconut oil) but no higher.

If you are using Old World Remedy Oil for cold sores, genital herpes or shingles, apply as soon as you feel an outbreak beginning (itch, tingle, ache, burn, etc.). It will cut breakout time by half and may even halt the breakout altogether. Or, you may choose to use Old World Remedy Balm instead (it contains a stronger dilution of 5% and there's no preparation necessary).

4. Topical Application for Mild to Moderate Ache & Nerve Pain

To use Old World Remedy Oil to soothe muscle and joint ache and pain, you'll be using a 5% dilution, which means you will be adding 30 drops of Old World Remedy Oil to 2 tablespoons of carrier oil, such as Olive, Coconut oil or some other food-grade oil. Using oil that absorbs into the skin extremely well, such as Grapeseed, Apricot Kernel or Rose Hips, is highly recommended. Hemp Seed may also be used. However, any kitchen oil will do in a pinch.

This remedy works best for pain close to the surface just under the skin, such as on knuckles, elbows, and feet. You may also find daily use is even more beneficial.

Apply just a dime-sized amount of oil mixture by rubbing into the skin directly over the muscle or joint 3-4 times per day for pain relief.

NOTE: DO NOT slather on this formula. Using too much could cause sensitivity.

5. Water Emersion (Bath Soak)

If you are coming down with a sniffle, a stuffy nose or are achy all over, try this very basic recipe at home. Fill the tub at least half full of warm water, add one cup of Sea Salt and 6-20 drops of Old World Remedy Oil. Soak for 20 minutes. 6-12 drops should be plenty strong enough. This should help open your sinuses, boost your immunity, and help to destroy viruses, bacteria, and fungus.

This is a great soak for anyone suffering from genital herpes, bacterial vaginosis, yeast infection or shingles.

Old World Remedy Oil is very potent. For sensitive noses, start with only 6 drops (never use more than 20 in a full bathtub of water) and go from there to make sure the scent is not too strong for your liking.

Sea salt also helps to relieve sore muscles, but you can use the oil alone should you not have salts on hand.

NOTE: DO NOT use this method for children under the age of 2 years old.

6. Diffusing into the Air (Aromatherapy)

Old World Remedy Oil kills airborne bacteria and, therefore, can help to clear germs out of the home fast. For preventative measures, diffuse Old World Remedy Oil into the main room of your home once per day for 20 minutes to eliminate airborne germs.

If you or someone in your home is already sick, add 6-12 drops of Old World Remedy Oil to 2 tablespoons of Olive oil (or some other food grade oil or water) in a cup or ceramic dish over a tea warmer for 20 minutes at a time 3-4 times each day.

You may also choose to simmer up to 12 (no more than 24) drops in a 1/2 cup of water in a shallow pan on the stove (also for 20 minutes at a time, 3-4 times each day). Cover the cup or pot when not in use.

A diffuser may be left running in the bedroom of anyone who is sick while they sleep every 3-4 hours for 20 minutes at a time. In children's rooms, place the diffuser away from the bed in the corner of the room or up high so your child is not breathing direct fumes and cannot reach it. Also, place the diffuser where your pet cannot reach it to avoid accidental poisoning.
