Make-Up Work

It is your responsibility to make up all missed work. Daily assignments are written in your planner. When you return to school after being absent, you get the planner information from the teacher or another student and makeup any missed assignments as soon as possible.

How to get a good grade!!

1. Do your homework. The homework grade is 10% of your grade. Doing your homework better prepares you to take tests. It is very important that you do well on your tests in order to get a good grade. I do not assign many problems, so I expect the homework to be completed.

2. Do your classwork. It is part of your grade. When added with quizzes, it is 30% of your grade. Your job as a student is to take class notes, complete our board work and do practice problems every day. This also helps better prepare you for the tests.

3. Do well on quizzes. These also count toward 30% of your grade, and make a larger impact on your grade than homework.

4. Tests. You must do well on the tests to pass the class, as tests count 60% of your grade. This is a MCPSS (Mobile County Public School System) requirement.
