USDA-NRCS NATIONAL EMERGENCY PLAN

I. ORDER OF SUCCESSION OF LINE OFFICERS

A. NATIONAL OFFICE. If the Chief is not available at the time of a national emergency, the employees who occupy the following positions are to act for the Chief in the order listed:

--Associate Chief --Deputy Chief for Management --Deputy Chief for Soil Science and Resource Assessment --Deputy Chief for Natural Resources Conservation Programs

B. STATE OFFICE. If the State Conservationist is not available at the time of a national emergency, the following employees are to act for the State Conservationist in the order listed:

--Zona Beaty - Assistant State Conservationist for Operations --John Hughes - State Administrative Officer --Shannon Weaver - Assistant State Conservationist for Technology --Steve Musser - Assistant State Conservationist for Programs --Lawrence McGhee - State Soil Scientist --Diane Guthrie - State Conservation Engineer
