Blended will also be provided if your child needs to quarantine or stay at home for an extended amount of time.Students work online from home and facilitators regularly check-in and provide virtual instruction (Google Classroom, Google Meet, APEX, ACCESS, etc.).Students will commit to at least 1 semester before being allowed to return to traditional. Enrollment must be completed within the first 2 weeks of each semester.Full-time virtual learning will require a greater daily time commitment.Students will go to school each day unless blended instruction is implemented. (A blended schedule may be necessary based on changing CDC guidelines, mandates/recommendations from the ADPH, and the Alabama State Department of Education). If a student is found with a temperature of 100.4 or higher, the student will be placed in isolation until the parent/guardian can pick the student up from school. This student may not return to school until they have been symptom-free without medicine for 72 hours.Students will apply and have to meet the criteria for the virtual learning option. Contact Etowah High School if you are interested in virtual school.Students will not attend school in an on-campus manner.Students MUST have access to the internet. Students will be provided a device if needed once they have met all requirements of the Usage Agreement.
