What does God say about Christmas

What does God say about Christmas?Even when faced with the overwhelming fact that we should not partake in the observance of Christmas, because of our traditions and conditioning we will still try to find excuses on why its “ok” or “for the kids” or “not considered pagan anymore”. Lets find out what the word of God says on this matter:1 Corinthians 10:20 KJV, But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils. ?21Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils. 22Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he? We are NOT to partake in these holidays because they were historically of the table of devils, and this is making our GOD jealous! There’s no two ways about it. Satan created these holidays for him, not for the great I AM. Let’s read more:Jeremiah 10 KJV,?1Hear ye the word which the LORD speaketh unto you, O house of Israel: 2Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. ?3For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. ?4They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. 5They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good. The heathen were decking their trees with silver and with gold, and here we are in the in present doing the same thing. We are to proclaim that these holidays are wicked and not of God! The most High God did not give us the authority or ability to hollow pagan traditions (see Isaiah 5:20, Romans 10:2-3 KJV)! Lets drop these holiday’s and do what is pleasing in the site of God. CHRISTMAS IS PAGAN AND IT’S NOT OF GOD! DON’T DO IT, REPENT! Matthew 15:3 KJV,?3But he answered and said unto them, why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition? - Jesus Christ The Holiday SeasonChristmas, a joyous, festive, warm and “spiritual” holiday. A time were we come together as a family and celebrate, fellowship, give gifts, love and most of all commemorate Jesus Christ’s birthday… Right? What if you were presented with information that proved other wise? What if you found out without a shadow of a doubt that Christmas is in fact a historically PAGAN and perverse celebration. What would you do?It should be no surprise that we are in the last days, and in these last days the prince and power of this world (SATAN) has a strangle hold on the spirits and minds of the majority of the people, even those that claim that they are with Christ. A strong weapon that Satan has in these last days is the so-called “Holidays” which we’ve been conditioned to know and love. Our Father of heaven and earth is a jealous God (Exodus 34:14) so it’s no surprise that one of Satan’s objectives is to make him jealous, and there’s no better way to do that then to trick the people into thinking there honoring God when there really honoring Satan. Allow us to explain.Origin of ChristmasWhere do you suppose Christmas originated? Certainly not with God! Christmas started with the sun worshipers during the time of Nimrod, the man who supervised the building of the tower of Babel. Thousands of years before Jesus was born, the heathen in every country observed December 25 as the birthday of a god who was called the sun god. Semiramis, the widow of Nimrod, was his mother. She claimed to be the queen of heaven. And she had a son who was supposed to have been born on December 25; his name was Tammuz. According to all the heathen religions of that time, Tammuz had a miraculous birth; and for centuries his birthday was celebrated with feasts, revelry, and drunken orgies. The heathen celebrated Tammuz's birthday according to the very example he set for them. He was the world's greatest lover of women, strong drink, dirty jokes, and other sensual fun the birthday of Tammuz, the sun god.Origin of Christmas, continuedThis is all brought out in Alexander Hislop's book, The Two Babylons. Any reputable encyclopedia will also verify these facts. Some will say, "We can't help it if we were born into a pagan world. We can't help it if we were reared and steeped in pagan doctrines and customs." Oh, yes we can! Christ said, "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." There is only one righteous thing that you can do with these pagan holidays, and that is to expose them and have no part in them. It's plain to see, isn't it, that Christmas is a pagan holiday that came out of pagan Babylon. As so-called followers of Christ and children of God, why should we give our finances, spirit and time to a historically pagan holiday that directly honors the fallen one, Satan? What is Saturnalia?Roman pagans first introduced the holiday of Saturnalia, a weeklong period of lawlessness celebrated between December 17-25.? During this period, Roman courts were closed, and Roman law dictated that no one could be punished for damaging property or injuring people during the weeklong celebration.? The festival began when Roman authorities chose “an enemy of the Roman people” to represent the “Lord of Misrule.”? Each Roman community selected a victim whom they forced to indulge in food and other physical pleasures throughout the week.? At the festival’s conclusion, December 25th, Roman authorities believed they were destroying the forces of darkness by brutally murdering this innocent man or woman. The 4th century CE, Christianity imported the Saturnalia festival hoping to take the pagan masses in with it.? Roman Christian leaders succeeded in converting to Christianity large numbers of pagans by promising them that they could continue to celebrate the Saturnalia as Christians.Christians had little success refining the practices of Saturnalia. As Stephen Nissenbaum, professor history at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, writes, “In return for ensuring massive observance of the anniversary of the Savior’s birth by assigning it to this resonant date (Dec. 25th), the Church for its part tacitly agreed to allow the holiday to be celebrated more or less the way it had always been.”What is Saturnalia?, ContinuedThe earliest Christmas holidays were celebrated by drinking, sexual indulgence, singing naked in the streets (a precursor of modern caroling), etc. The way the Greeks observed Bacchanalia (Dec. 25th) and the way the Romans celebrated Saturnalia (Dec. 25th) were nearly identical, and laid the groundwork for our modern Christmas celebration. The ancient Greek writer, poet, and historian Lucian (in his dialogue entitled Saturnalia) describes the festival’s observance in his time. In addition to human sacrifice, he mentions these customs: widespread intoxication; going from house to house while singing naked; rape and other sexual license; and consuming human-shaped biscuits (still produced in some English and most German bakeries during the Christmas season). We can see that different cultures and civilizations celebrated this pagan holiday well before Christ was born. What do all these things have to do with Christ? NOTHING! How can we knowingly celebrate this holiday with and honest heart before the Lord? The Bible condemns man’s traditions (aka holidays)!Colossians 2:8 KJV,?8Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after ChristWhy did Paul write this? Let’s see:Colossians 2:18 KJV,?18Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath no seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,By following mans philosophies and traditions, we are tricked into voluntarily worshipping fallen angels (SATAN)! God hates the holidays because we ignore his holy days!Amos 5:21 KJV,?21I hate, I despise your feast days, and I will not smell in your solemn assemblies. 22Though ye offer me burnt offerings and your meat offerings, I will not accept them: neither will I regard the peace offerings of your fat beasts. 23Take thou away from me the noise of thy songs; for I will not hear the melody of thy viols. ................
