READ THESE NOTES FIRST:

? Enlist A Friend: While this cage may be assembled by one person, a few steps may be easier with two people.

? Count Hardware: Extra screws are included. If the screw count is short, please contact Prevue Customer Service.

? Review All Parts: If wires are bent, they may be straightened with needle nose pliers. For seriously damaged parts, please contact Prevue Customer Service.

? Tools: An allen wrench is included. You may want to have a pair of needle nose pliers available. You may use your own hand tools, but we DO NOT recommend power drills! Parts may be over-tightened and damaged or stripped. Prevue is not responsible for this type of damage.

1aAssemble the base. These steps may be easier with two people.

Left side lower (L1) and right side lower (R1) panels are interchangeable. Panels have tabs at the bottom corners. These tabs correspond to sleeves on the legs of the front (F) and back (B) panels (see detail). Channels on (L1) and (R1) should face the interior of the cage.

With the front (F) panel on its side, insert the tab on the bottom corner of the right side lower (R1) panel into the sleeve on the leg of (F). Secure (R1) to (F) with a long hex screw.

Following the same method, attach the back

(B) panel to the (R1) panel. Next, attach the

left side lower (L1) panel to the front and back

panels, inserting tabs into sleeves and securing

with long hex screws.

1bWith the cage still on its side, insert the rolling casters into the legs of the front and back panels.

2 Assemble the sides. With the base assembled

and the casters inserted, stand the cage upright.

Side upper panels (L2) and (R2) may be swapped

R for L--just make sure the cup doors and heavy

vertical wires on either side panel swing/face out.

Slide the right side upper (R2) panel down through the channel guides along the inner front and back panel frame legs. A central vertical wire extends above and below the side panel. Align and insert the bottom extended wire into the corresponding hole along the top surface of the side lower panel (see detail).

Repeat on the other side for insertion of the left side upper (L2) panel.

3aAssemble the playtop. The playtop base (PT1) caps

the cage.The frame is shipped with the playtop tray

(PT2) in place.Remove the tray for ease of assembly.

Posts extend down from the (PT1) frame corners and correspond with openings on (F) and (B) panel corners. Holes along the bottom of (PT1) frame correspond with the extended vertical wires of the side panels.

Align the corner posts with corner openings; align the hole on the frame underside with the extended vertical wires of the side panels. Nestle the playtop into place and secure it to the cage with short hex screws.

3bLocate the two halves of the playtop perch support bar (1a & 1b). Insert the post on (a) into the opening on (b) to create the full support bar unit.

Attach the full support bar 1 onto the back edge of the cage with long hex screws.

Attach the perch bar 2 -- the side with four holes must face forward-- to the support bar unit with long hex screws.

3cInstall the ladder 3. Fit the ladder's top posts into holes on the center face of the perch bar; insert the bottom posts into holes on front top edge of the playtop base frame.

Insert the cup holders 4 into holes along the top surface of the perch bar.

Insert the shallow cups 5 into the cup holders.

Slide the shorter perch 6 onto the perch bar.

Insert the playtop tray (PT2) into place.

4 Install the additional accessories.

? Insert the cup holders into the cup doors, and insert cups into the cup holders (see top detail).

? Install the perch into the cage interior, side-toside, on a horizontal wire (see middle detail).

? Insert the bottom tray (T) and grille (G).

? To keep the grille securely in place, a safe-clip is included. Locate the short horizontal bar on the front panel under the grille, and centered G directly under the grille handle. Hook the open ends of the safe-clip onto the short horizontal bar; hook the upper part over the handle on T the grille (see bottom detail).

5 Assemble the seed guards. These steps may be easier with two people.

Left & right side seed guards (SG1 & SG3) are interchangeable and have tabs at the corners which fit into sleeves on the frame legs of the front (F1) and back (B1) panels (see detail below).

To make assembly easier, turn the seed guard panels upside-down and pre-assemble the SG1/SG2 pair and the SG4/SG3 pair on the floor.

Slip the left side/back (SG1/SG2) seed guard pair into place on the cage legs. Slip the front/right side (SG4/SG3) pair into place.

Align the holes at the front left (SG1 + SG4) corner and secure the guards together with screw & nut pairs. Finish with the back right (SG2 + SG3) corner.
