The Big 12 had three teams in the top 12 of the first CFP Poll with No. 8 Oklahoma, No. 11 Oklahoma State and No. 12 Baylor.

Fifty percent of Big 12 teams have reached bowl eligibility, which is tied for the second-highest percentage among conferences. Big 12 bowl partners and their selection order are on page 2.

Oklahoma is among just four teams that remain undefeated and was the first to reach nine wins. The Sooners' 17-game win streak leads the nation.

The Big 12 finished the regular season with a .800 (24-6) win percentage in non-conference outings, good for second among FBS leagues. Four of the six losses were to other autonomy leagues.

Among FBS leagues, the Big 12 is first in pass completion percentage (65.7), passer rating (1494.9) and yards per play (7.4). The Conference is second in scoring (31.0), rushing yards per game (172.8) and passing yards per completion (12.68).

Big 12 Champions for Life, an initiative of the Big 12 Conference, is in its seventh year in 2021-22. This year's campaign will feature student-athletes from all 10 Conference institutions and highlight their inspiring stories of personal growth and success. Television spots will be featured during Big 12 games this season. To learn more, visit .

A leader amongst his peers, Kansas State football's Phillip Brooks has been an advocate for social justice reform. Brooks is an active member of P.A.L.S. and is proud to help his community.

In addition to ranking in the top 14 for scoring defense, OSU is third (277.0) and Iowa State is fourth (282.4) in total defense.

Sixty percent of Big 12 offenses average over 31 points a game to rank in the nation's top 45: 5. Oklahoma (42.9), 19. Baylor (36.3), 22. Texas (35.8), 34. Texas Tech (32.8), 39. Iowa State (31.9) and 45. TCU (31.3).

Big 12 Game Thresholds

In the event a Conference game is canceled due to a team not having enough studentathletes to compete (due to COVID-19 or for any reason), that team will forfeit and will be credited with a loss in the Conference standings. The opponent will be credited with a win in the Conference standings. Both teams will be deemed to have played the game for purposes of Conference standings only. A forfeit can be declared at any point before a completed contest, and when possible would occur prior to the visiting team commencing travel. Additionally, if both teams are unable to compete, a No Contest would be declared and, if needed, an unbalanced tiebreaker would be utilized to determine Conference championship participants in football or championship seeding in other sports. The Commissioner retains discretion to declare a No Contest if extraordinary circumstances warrant.

TCU was named the Cheez-It Bowl National Team of the Week after its 30-28 win over No. 12 Baylor.

Big 12 players of the week were awarded to the Iowa State duo of Will McDonald IV (defensive) and Andrew Mevis (special teams), along with TCU's Chandler Morris (offensive) and Oklahoma State's Jaylen Warren (newcomer).

Running back Abram Smith has achieved the 15th 1,000-yard rushing season in Baylor history (1,055), and its first since Terence Williams in 2016 (1, 048).

Iowa State's Will McDonald IV broke the ISU career record with 27.5 sacks, passing JaQuan Bailey. McDonald has collected a sack in 18 of his last 24 games.

Kansas senior Kwamie Lassiter III moved into eighth in program history with 125 career receptions.
