All four owners of The Spot will share a 10,000 dollar cost on the opening of the business with other loans from banks and Angel Investors to help with the remaining cost. We are not looking toward exceeding profit in the beginning of opening due to it being Winter, but once the warm weather kicks in and people have had a chance to try us out we are planning they will then come no matter what the weather is like, to where in the next couple years we will exceed profit expectations. With buying all the equipment needed for the kitchen and arcade room, we are looking forward to growing in profit due to not having to re-buy a lot of the equipment.3 Year Profit and Loss Projection2010%2011% 2012 %Sales $150,000100% $200,000100% $250,000 100%Prod. We feel that it will draw a different caliber of customer. The gamers will come for the gaming and will be drawn to the café due to the fact they will not only want to eat or get something to drink but the smell of the food and drink will draw them to the café. So this way you get the gamers to the café.The cliental that will come to café for the ability to sit in a relaxed atmosphere whether to just sit and drink a cup of coffee with a Danish or work on a homework project in small groups or even just to sit and read through the newspaper. It will get them into the café. When it comes time to take a break from the mind boggling study or creative thinking they can blow off steam in the game room. Are market share will start low due to the fact we are the news team on the block. But with an aggressive marketing plan we will be able to become a household name. In a six month period we will be the place to be. Early morning coffee drinkers to the afternoon gamers.PROGNOSISThere does not appear to be any new startups in the current picture. But if there were I think are ability to bring in not only students but the professionals is a major plus for the spot. We will always have to compete with small mom and pop shops but I don’t believe any are at our level of service. With new games and good food we will demand attentionOBJECTIVEWe will maintain a high quality of games to keep gamers coming back. And a good menu of finger foods at there disposal.STRATEGYWith are prim location and good signage we will attract passers by. And with the use of flyers and billboards we will have plenty of visual signs pointing people in our direction. The rental cost of a electronic billboard is $750.00/ month on a month to month lease for a 5 sec add that runs from 5:00 AM to 12:00 Mid-night TACTICSWith the use of quality advertising good finger food and all the latest in games we will be the industry leader. Word of mouth along with quality products we will look to increase Location Analysis7.1 Location The location for the spot will be in town within close proximity to High schools and collages. In the downtown areas you will have a higher level of foot and vehicle traffic. We will have the benefit of on street and the parking lot for parking for those that do drive and being in town those that do not drive they will have access to public transportation. 7.2 Why this location We where attracted to this location based on the ability to service a wide range of people from middle school kids to collage young adults. At the Spot we will have a game room and a café with snacks and beverages. There will be an area that can be used as a computer lounge for people to work on Homework or just sit a relax.7.3 Why will we succeed? We will succeed in this area because we can draw from all avenues middle school kids looking to spend there money in the game room. And with all the up to date gaming we will be the hit of the neighborhood. Collage age kids also will be interested tin the gaming room and the lounge can be used as a social gathering.
