Advertising-the Rinkside proposal was discussed; it is not an exclusive agreement so we can still accept other advertising; contract is tied to Dave contract with expiration of July 31, 2018; the company would report to Dave; payment is within 45 daysMOTION: Dave S made a motion to approve the contract, seconded by Bob CCARRIEDGobbler-contract in placeMOTION: Pete S made a motion to accept the contract, Craig secondedCARRIEDCraig will send to Tony New BusinessAboveKara asked if BAHA membership mattered as she learned that you have to register separately with BAHA; it could be tied in with association registration if so, but board agreed that there isn’t any need to maintain updated membershipReportsAdvertising-checks are coming in; Willie McCoy’s has ads on Rink 1 and 3; Chris from Rinkside has been instructed how to put the ads up on the boardsConcessions- will start full-time in mid-Oct; always room for more workers; there are rules to make sure the shifts are equal; new freezer (city owned) has been installedTreasurer-taxes are done and will be submitted soon; there is $118K on hand-should it stay where it is or put in Savings? Kara mentioned Ally Bank has a great rate for savings/cds but only for online bankingQuestion how Richfield tourneys would be run and it was determined that they would run the same as the BAHA tourneys regarding payments.Tournaments-handout by Directors; tournaments are 90% capacity with expanded numbers in many tourneys; changed some ads in Let’s Play Hockey to advertise only Bantam Tourney and see how that goes; still worried about Pee Wee and Tony’s tournament detracting from our numbers; if they expand the PeeWee tournament by only 8 teams that would bring in the same revenue as Tony’s tournament; out of town teams have increased this yearThey have had someone create new logos for the tourneys that will now be BAHA’s (see August minutes)Ice Coordinator-ice draw is Oct 29 from 8 am to noon; D6 game draw is Oct 3; schedules will be released Oct 22Some worry about losing Richfield ice with addition of High school teamKennedy-no updateJefferson-no updateGirls-coop agreement in placeMotion to Adjourn 7:21 pm ................
