Entry Form – Best Social Infrastructure Project

(including Education and Healthcare)

For the purpose of these awards, a P3 is defined as public infrastructure using private finance in a long-term partnering agreement.

This category is for all social infrastructure P3 projects, such as housing, prisons, courts, student and military accommodation, stadiums and convention centers, education projects and healthcare projects, rather than individual organizations. It is open for both entries and nominations for deals within the Americas that were signed between April 1, 2018 and March 31, 2020. Projects can only be entered once during this two-year period.

Only one entry per project is permitted. If more than one entry is submitted all parties will be contacted to coordinate combining the forms.

Image of project required:

Please upload a high resolution image in either a jpeg format with a minimum of 300 dpi or eps, or pdf to the entry portal on the P3 Awards website ( ). In the event that you are short listed this image will be used to represent you in the AV presentation.

Please give an overview of the project and why it should win this award, using the criteria below to structure your answer (minimum 700 words, maximum 1500 words, video links and appendices are not accepted, and any testimonials are to be included in the word count ) Any entries outside these word counts will not be accepted.

Areas this should cover include:

- Innovation in procurement, structure, finance and/or delivery

- Effective risk assessment and transfer

- Meeting or exceeding project milestones including financial close

- Design quality, and sustainability and the promotion of environmental measures

- Flexibility and, where relevant, alternative asset use

- Demonstration of the project’s social impact and the transformative effect it will have on the local community and/or users

Some tips for a winning entry: You will be scored on this entry form, rather than any prior knowledge the judges have about the project so make sure you answer the criteria and use the full word count. The judges are looking for innovation so focus on what is new and different about the project.

Entries are treated with the strictest confidence and will only be seen by the judges allocated to that category. They will not be shared with anyone else.

PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR ENTRY IN THE ENTRY PORTAL ON THE EVENT WEBSITE AT
