Educational Specialist and State Consultant in Bilingual, ESL, Migrant Education, Multicultural Education, and Foreign Language for 58 Independent School Districts (Region VI) in East Texas. Responsibilities included continuous inservice training, administrative assistance, interpretation of state/federal law, federal funding, newsletters, and assessment of fee services. Additional duties involved: coordinating initiatives at state level, designing Special Population Conferences, conducting staff development in Leadership for School Reform, and participating in Literacy Task Force, Parent/Community Strategic Planning Team, and Bilingual/ESL Alternative Certification Program.
