Dear (Name),

Currently, more than 5 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s disease, and over 15 million more are faced with the financial and emotional challenges of caring for a loved one with the disease. And these numbers are only rising. As the baby boomers age, 10 million individuals in this generation are expected to develop Alzheimer’s.

But there is something we can do to stop this devastating disease. We can walk together and join in the movement to end Alzheimer’s. That’s why I I’m participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s®.

The Alzheimer’s Association®, the world’s leading voluntary organization in Alzheimer’s research, care and support, is dedicated to finding methods of prevention, treatment and eventually, a cure for the disease.

I plan to raise at least $[insert personal fundraising goal] to support the Alzheimer’s Association, which provides consultation, information and referral, and support programs to our community.

I know I can do this with your support. Would you please consider making a donation? Visit my fundraising Web page at (Enter Personal Web Page) to learn more and make a contribution. You can also mail a donation using the enclosed pledge form. Checks should be made payable to the Alzheimer's Association and are tax deductible.

Thank you in advance for your time and generosity.

Sincerely,

(Your Name)

Dear (Name):

I just signed up to participate in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s®, the nation’s largest event to raise funds and awareness to fight Alzheimer’s disease.

Currently, there are no survivors of Alzheimer’s disease. This devastating and debilitating disease is the ultimate thief — of memories, of independence, of time and ultimately, of life.

Dear (Name):

This year, I’m taking a stand against Alzheimer’s disease. I’m participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s®, a movement to raise funds and awareness to fight this disease.

Alzheimer’s disease is the only cause of death among the top 10 in America without a way to prevent, cure or even slow its progression. The time to take action to stop this epidemic is now!

The Alzheimer’s Association®, the world’s leading voluntary organization in Alzheimer’s research, care and support, is dedicated to finding methods of prevention, treatment and eventually, a cure for the disease.
