• Researched, wrote, and trained professional mental health workers and rabbis and cantors in The Aleph Bet of Marriage: Journeying toward Commitment, a seven session premarital education program for the Reform Movement of Judaism -offered across the North American Continent. Published by URJPress.

• Led a twenty-member think tank comprised of mental health professionals, rabbis and lay leaders of the Reform Movement in the creation of the premarital educational program.

• Wrote and oversaw the production of The Facilitator’s Guidebook, a training manual for the premarital education program, published by the URJPress.

• Implemented piloting of premarital education program in nine cities.

• Wrote and received grants in excess of $240,000 for continued development and dissemination of the premarital education program.

• Wrote and received a grant for $45,000 for the creation of a series of videotapes, entitled The Kitchen Table tapes, targeting premarital couples, couples who are remarrying and blending families, and teens discussing marriage, intermarriage and family formation.

• Researched and developed workshops on the demographic changes for marriage and family formation in the Jewish community.

• Produced a power-point presentation and a study guide on demographic trends for use by over 900 Reform congregations.

• Developed workshops and presented at conferences for the Reform Movement, including regional and national URJ Biennials and the Central Conference of American Rabbis (CCAR), and the CCAR President’s retreat.

• Social work functions for chronic mentally ill patients on an inpatient psychiatric unit; inclusive of individual and group psychotherapy, family intervention, bio-psychosocial assessments and discharge planning.

• Secondary placement in out-patient unit. Conducted a group with dual-diagnosed persons (schizophrenic and developmentally disabled) that provided daily living skills, medication management and social integration skills.

• Tertiary placement as facilitator of Caring and Sharing Group for families of chronic mentally ill patients for monthly AMI/PATH meetings.
