My requirements of clients:

~ Sessions begin and end at scheduled times. Sessions begun late due to the client arriving late will end at the appointed time and are full price.

~ Be present (not under the influence of alcohol or drugs).

~ Clients provide a health history and update when necessary.

~ Payment is expected at the time service is rendered. Body Rhythms accepts cash, checks, and credit cards.

~ Sexual harassment is not tolerated. If the practitioner’s safety feels compromised, the session is stopped immediately.

~ Be clean, having showered the same day as the treatment.

~ Do not eat a heavy meal less than two hours prior to treatment.

~ Drink plenty of water the day before, day of and day after your massage.

What clients can expect from me:

~ I provide my clients with a competent and professional session each time the come for an appointment, addressing the client’s specific needs for that session.

~ Clients are draped with a sheet at all times during the session. Only the parts of the body being worked on are exposed at any time. The genitals are never exposed or massaged.

~ I am available to my clients Monday through Friday and some Saturdays by appointment only and clients may reach me by leaving me a message.

~ Clients are treated with respect and dignity.

~ I charge a fair price for my services.

~ Payment is due at the time of service. Body Rhythms accepts cash, checks, and credit cards

~ I usually do not provide direct billing for my services.

~ However, massage is sometimes considered a medical necessity (auto accidents, work comp, & personal injury) and some decide to cover massage in the flex spending accounts.

~ I will provide a receipt for any service I provide upon request or when using a credit card (client must enter the email or text number).

~ Appointments are confirmed the day before the appointment through the automatic reminders (set up through the online booking system used).

~ I perform services for which I am qualified (physically and emotionally) and able to do, and refer to appropriate specialists when work is not within my scope of practice and/or not in the client’s best interest.

~ I keep accurate records and review charts before each session.

~ I customize my treatment to meet the client’s needs.

~ I stay current with information and techniques by reading, receiving regular sessions (of the same service I provide) and by taking at least one workshop per year.

~ I respect all clients regardless of their age, gender, race, national origin, sexual orientation, religion, socio-economic status, body type, political affiliation, and state of health or personal habits.

~ Privacy and confidentiality are maintained at all times.

~ My equipment and supplies are clean and safe.

~ Personal and professional boundaries are respected at all times.

CANCELLATION POLICY

My requirements of clients:

If cancellation is necessary, please give 4-hour notice or you are charged 50 percent for the appointment unless it can be filled. Emergency cancellations are determined at the practitioner’s discretion. Payment is expected at the time the service I rendered.

What clients can expect from me:

If I need to cancel an appointment, I do so within 4 hours whenever possible. If an emergency arises and I cannot keep an appointment, I provide 50 percent discount with a client’s next session.
