The post-holder is the key spokesperson for the organisation and leads the Theatre’s management team to achieve the company’s ambitions. The CEO/Artistic Director is also responsible for researching, planning, developing and implementing a vibrant artistic and education and community engagement programme, as informed by the artistic policy. notice periodSalary:circa ?52,500 per annum depending on experience, payable monthly in arrears. No overtime is payableHours of work:A 39 Hour week [Monday to Friday] although the senior nature of the role will demand longer hours on a frequent basis and some evening and weekend work.Flexible working:The nature of this role determines that flexible working arrangements are necessary, although it is expected that the postholder will spend a reasonable proportion of time during core office hours of 9.30-5.30pm Monday – Friday. Inevitably weekend and evening work is a pre-requisite of this post.Other flexible working patterns can be accommodated with the agreement of the Board to other professional commitments (within reason and on the understanding that the postholder’s first priority is to the Theatre Royal and there are no conflicts of interest), or to support family and or childcare commitments.
