NARRATIVE

On November 07, 2020 at 09:44 hours, deputies were dispatched to the easement road behind 2549 North Bend Rd for a

report of found packages. According to the caller, Joseph Adamson (DOB:

1980), he noticed several Amazon packages

that appeared torn, and then saw that there were several large bags full of Amazon packages that appeared to have been

torn/gone through.

The caller, Joseph, is a driver for Airport Towing that is typically in the area for illegally parked vehicles however a time frame

could not be provided for when the packages would have been dumped there. This deputy walked back into the woods and

noted that with the inclusions of several packages being spread out, there were five (5) bags full of packages, three (3) in USPS

mail bags and two (2) black garbage bags. This deputy photographed the scene. All of the packages examined appeared to

have been opened with a utility type razor due to the linear cuts. This deputy did attempt to examine two (2) packages for

prints but was unable to locate any. This deputy noted that the packages appeared to have been dry still. This deputy

consulted with Sgt Becker who advised this deputy to contact Amazon

Deputy Huebner arrived on scene and went to contact Amazon. Deputy Huebner arrived on scene with an Amazon employee

who advised that the packages came from CVG 5 on Litton and that they would handle this internally. He further requested

that deputies transfer the packages back to Amazon. Deputies transported the packages to Amazon at which point they were

turned over. This deputy again consulted with Sgt Becker and determined an E-Call would be documented; it was reported to
